Such a cute guestbook idea!
I don't know what I am more excited about... My dad & I are currently taking dance lessons for our father-daughter dance. Which is just... so awesome. My whole family knows he can't dance anything but the 70's "bunnyhop", and my mom is an amazing salsa dancer. So we are going to surprise everyone by dancing a salsa together. And it kills 'two birds with one stone' because my dad promised my mom jokingly he would learn to salsa before they died... and here he is fufilling his marital promise to her! AND he says he likes the lessons so much, he might take out my mom for dates to the salsa dance place where we are learning- for date nights with her! =o)
I think I am looking forward to that the most for the reception. Seeing the look on my family's face when my dad busts out a move!
ICE CREAM CAKE!!!
Haha...seriously...that had to be one of the most looked forward to parts of my reception. I barely got to enjoy it though since there was so much going on! Other than that, I would say that I was stoked for the father/daughter dance and my first dance with my husband. It was awesome!

Oh, I love the guest book idea! We did a photo book guest book, but it's not quite as fun.
I'm just ready to see everything come together. I have done so many craft projects I want to see the patio set up! And I'm ready to taste the food. And I want to see my family.
Actually...I'm kinda more excited about our families blending, and having a good time. To hear the laughs of family as a crazy uncle tells a joke. To hear the giggles of the little kids that will be there. Just the happiness & love that will fill the room.
I'm not sure if a lot, if any, of FI's fathers family will be there. (He actually could care less if they are). But I LOVE family get togethers. Reason why I love Thanksgiving and Christmas. And a reason why I want a "big" family.
I'm excited about it! LOL!
I don't know yet! I'm just excited about all of it, but not one thing is necessarily standing out more so than another.....hmmm. Our first dance as husband and wife is really tugging on my heartstrings also.
Honestly, I am excited for every single part of the reception. So much work and effort from many of us to get this wedding the way we want it. We can't wait to see it all. More importantly we want to make sure everyone has a great time. That is what really counts for us.
I'm too am geeked about the daddy-daughter dance. I'm an only child raised by my father. We are incredibly close. He introduced me to a song when I was a teenager that he just loved because it was about a dad raising his daughter. I'm going to have that song digitized and played for our dance. He has no idea and hasn't heard the song in over 20 years. I'm so excited to see his face when he figures out what song it is. : )
Probably coming in being introduced as Mr. & Mrs.!
Also - Miss Apricot -- one of the best parts of Weddingbee is vendors are welcome to post their services as long as they aren't spamming the boards too much (even though its not your business, just thought I'd let ya know!)
I am excited to see friends and family, and to dance till I drop! I just want everyone to have a GREAT time.
i say exchanging the wedding vows I know I'll be blubbering and sobbing!
Miss Apricot - my best friend used that guest book at her wedding (I was MOH). It is really adorable, and yes, it's a really great keepsake. Just make sure the guest book attendant is diligent about getting people to fill them out.
My sister also had a guest book that required a bit more guest input, but the attendants didn't really do their job, so it's missing a lot of entries and is not as fun as she wanted it to be.
This is so tough, but I think I'd have to say I'm most excited just to be able to see all our family and friends! There are so many people I don't get to see often enough, including several coming in from out of town. I'm really looking forward to some time with them!

Is there anything special you are totally excited about for your reception? Music? Food? A surprise for your guests?
For me, I think I'm most excited about our guest book, believe it or not. I found a really neat one (from www.guestbookstore.com - I THINK that's okay to post here since I don't work for them or anything) where instead of the traditional lined paged it's more involved for the guests. I think it will make a really neat keepsake after the wedding!
