Heh, any family events mean we have to put forth our best behaviour; i.e. not fun. Vacations in general would be the only events that melt both my FI and my butter… hah!

Wedding are romantic… I don’t care who is getting married, I’m all a-ga.

Mr TTR too, he’s sentimental like that.

We may or may not get it on back at the Hotel afterwards, lol depends a lot on how much “celebrating” we’ve done with the loving couple, as there is a point where alcohol goes from being a stimulant to being a detriment.

Funerals don’t turn my crank… at our ages (50 & 60) they happen way too often, be it with older Relatives, or sadly friends who are losing out to diseases like Heart Disease & Cancer

(Once you get to 50, the world does a TILT and more folks begin to die.  It sucks being 50+)

Vacations, now that rocks our boat (literally).  Lots of butter melting on a vacation !!

@iDreamofJune:  I have to be honest, I was picturing melting butter for baking and I was going to tell you that it doesn’t come out the same. I tried it for shortbread before and it was a disaster.

Now that I understand, I will say that we are quite a sexual couple to begin with. We especially love our weekend getaways and vacations but I also find that any emotional event can draw us closer together…which makes us want that intense emotional connection.

the last wedding i went to felt like a funeral. it was soooo boring and dry, we left right after. i didnt want to further the “party” plus i wasnt close to the couple or anyone there and it was a bad vibe the whole day. no one was smiling and they kept playing funeral style gospel music. i was sooo ready to go…..

Weddings are great – but we dont really need any help getting in the mood.  Basically anything that gets us out of our regular routine helps spice up our lives.

@iDreamofJune:  I have no idea why but I seem to always get frisky when we’ve spent the day with HIS sisters. Weird right? It’s not like I want to reward good behavior. It’s not like it’s a romantic situation. I have no idea what does it.

Oh, and I will add vacations too, but isn’t that a given? Whenever we’re planning a get away one of us talks about looking forward to “dirty hotel sex”. I don’t even think we’re any dirtier in hotels!

Weddings too, but it’s the mini moons we take all the time. We have a really good time. 🙂

@iDreamofJune:  Either, but mostly because either event requires FI to step out of his jeans and shirts and dress up. He’s so hot in his “formal” clothes. Yum.

I always feel sexy after weddings! Romance (and alcohol) as you said in the air, and we are dressed up, and often in a hotel with a KING SIZE BED!!! Let’s be real… the bed is really what turns me on!!!
