Since moving south, I’ve had increasing problems with dry skin and what I was using is not helping anymore (I was using the Clearasil system, which has a lotion). I’ve been using it every day and seeing no change.
What face lotion do you like to use? Anyone know why my face is even more dry now that we live in a more humid location?

I use Lubriderm for my body and face – I have very dry skin as well and use it in the morning right after I shower, when I get home and before bed. Do you use lotion immediately after getting out of the shower? This is the best time to use it because your skin will actually absorb the lotion as opposed to it just sitting on top of your skin. I used to have eczema and Lubriderm has been the best so far. In the past I have also used St. Ives which I liked as well.

I would be it’s because you’re spending way more time in climate-controlled buildings.
I use Olay sensitive skin moisturizer with spf 15, it does the trick even through the dry-as-hell winters here.

I use the Clinique facial moisturizer (the yellow one). I have really dry skin too, especially in the winter. Cetaphil also works great….

Aveeno Ultra Calming with SPF 15

I actually use a serum. I moved from San Diego to Austin and what I had wasn’t working. I looooove the face system I’m using now. All natural and from Etsy. My face looks fantastic!

I use Hope in a Jar from Philosophy. I have normal skin (in terms of dryness ;)), but they have different moisturizing levels. My mom has dry skin and she used to use the one for dry skin and she loved it, but she switched to Chanel becuase of their anti-aging properties.

I use Hope in a Jar by Philosophy as well. Sephora totes it as their best selling facial moisturizer, so I figured I had to give it a go. No more problems with dry skin!

I am having problems with my skin being more dry in a humid climate now! I can’t use those packaged acne systems anymore because they dry out my face way too much. I use Origins Checks and Balances cleanser, United State toner, and Balanced Diet lotion. I’m thinking of going to Night-A-Mins lotion at night for some additional moisture.

What I use and I really like, especially the face that it has a higher SPF:

@mightywombat: Huh, I hadn’t thought of that, great observation about the climate control buildings. I am in colder AC a lot more now.
@PitBulLover: No, I’m not using it right out of the shower, I’ll definitely give that a try now though, thanks!
Sounds like Aveeno is the most common trend here, I might have to try that first. What’s the difference in their Positively Radiant and Ultra Calming versions?

I tried the positively radiant one once and didn’t like it because it had sparkly things in it. The ultra calming one doesn’t make my face look shiney.
I use the Philosophy Hope in a Jar at night.
