sigh! i miss fall weather, because i love me some fur-lined hoodies with toggles and newsboy-type hats...target has a lot of suede ones...and the crochet berets at forever21...
Agree -- LOVE boots of any kind and I would like to get over the knee boots. I also like the sweater coats with a big belt (been seeing this in the store windows a lot lately) Colorful coats (I think I'm going to get a purple one).
I just wish I could pull off scarves. My friend wears them so effortlessly and I always look like my gram when I try to do it ;op
oh those are soo cute!!!
here are my faves... i actually have a pair of vera wang chocolate gloves that go almost to my elbow, but these ultra long ones are soooo chic to me (LOVE THEM!)

omg over the knee boots! did you girls watch this week's episode of "the rachel zoe project" on bravo? it was shot at paris fashion week and they had some over-the-knee boots i would kill for!! gorgeous ones with thick leather lacing up the back! le sigh.
also, i the most recent jcrew catalogue is blowing my mind...theres this one pair of herringbone tights i desperately need!
I want anything and everything purple! Particularly dark plum.
And suede... I want suede bags and shoes. Damn fall and it's awesome clothes!!

I too want some amazing statement-making boots. And yet... I have absolutely no where to wear them without feeling like a goose. I wish I lived in a bigger city where these things were okay!
I'm lusting after the boots for sure, but alas my calves make that so NOT an option! So instead I'm trying to accept it and move on.
I have to say tho there are a lot of fall trends I love. Right now I'm digging feathers as embellishments and colorful jackets/sweaters!

Yay i'm not the only boot lover! I just...don't know what to wear them with! Seriously, WHAT?! Not a skirt or dress....i feel like that makes it hookery. I think i'd be self-conscious about wearing them to work, too, and i hate to spend $ on things i can't wear to work. They are way cute

Not a Fall Trend perse but I've been lusting after these boots!!! Sigh. They're Cole Haan boots with the Nike Air Technology so not only do they look good you know they are going to feel awesome! I've seen them on eBay for ~$100 (retails close to $300) but have yet to see it in my size (6.5/7)for that cheap. 
@EJS: I wear boots with skirts and dresses constantly! I even wear them with my suits to work. I don't think it's a "hooker-y" look at all.
I agree with KMSull that it definitely depends where you live though. I wear boots and skirts/dresses all the time in the city (and I'm definitely not the only one) but when I go to my mom's upstate looking like that, I get the staredown ;o)
It's not boots in general with the skirts, it's the over the knee boots I worry about looking hookery. For some reason they are always associated with the thigh-high styles! I was looking for some last year and all I could find were the patent-leather studded styles!
I wear boots all the time with skirts and dresses, but at some point it gets so cold i need tights here so i give up by mid-November. Sometimes i'll do a dress+scarf+boots, which is my favorite look =]
@EJS: You're right. When I think over-the-knee boots, I think over skinny jeans.

When I wear boots (getting them custom made) I wear them with everything, the best thing to do with over the knee boots is jeans but you can wear them with a skirt, just do a dark colored tights with them. I think it's the skin showing that looks hookerish but if you have like black tights with black boots, you're color blocking and therefore look chic rather then hookerish :)
ejs -- i have a similar pair I got two years ago that fold up above the knee or you can fold down. Usually when I am "out" I wear them folded up. Fun.
I need a new pair of black heeled boots...
I also am lusting over lots of sweater dresses and skirts. I have no desire to add any new pants to my wardrobe for me its all skirts and dresses!

I want.....some over-the-knee boots! But, I don't want them to be hooker boots, but I'm not really sure what I'd even wear them with! I know I won't buy any, but I'm jumping on the trend wagon!
