Our little girl is 11 months old with NO teeth yet! She loves to feed herself, in fact she kind of gets mad when we try to feed her. She has not mastered the spoon. We give her Cheerios, cut up banana, occaisionally a torn up piece of bread, and the baby crunchy things they sell in the store (which seriously look/smell/taste like puff potato chips and puff cereal).
I’d like to give her more fresh food, but I don’t know what to safely try with her not having teeth. Any ideas bees? Thanks!!

Cut up boiled soft carrots, boilded squash, and I always gave my DD super soft chunks of potatoes. **We are talking like you can mush them really easy and small cubes.**

- sweet potato
- cubed fruit like melons
- tofu cubes
The absence of teeth doesnt necessarily dictate what a baby can eat, its more their dexterity in mashing it with their tongue or ‘gumming’ it. If your LO is good at that you can be a little more adventuresome and it doesnt have to be a super soft, mushy food. As you can tell since your LO is already on cheerios.

When my boys were little I sliced up all different fruits and veggies. I put them on a platter with different dipping sauces and they loved mixing different things together.
Some examples- natural yoghurt, spinach dip, peanut butter, pesto,
