I think a few weeks is a little nuts, but I do think you’re probalyl not her priority right now because this is the HEAT of wedding season. I’m no florist and haven’t met with one yet, but I could see discussing specifics 2 months out at the latest?

In terms of flowers, it depends on your location (if you’re trying to do local flowers) but I know in the east, you’ve got mums, sunflowers, dahlias, etc.

Also, do you have a contract with her for your date? Or you’re just trying to get a quote? If you already have her chosena nd locked in, then I see why she isn’t dealing with exact things just yet, but if you don’t have a florist and are just looking for ideas/quotes, I would choose another!!

We have nearly the same date and my florist is acting the same way. I would consider getting a new one or checking out the farmers market by you.

Do you have a venue? I would ask who they normally work with and recommend.

@petalpetal:  Umm rude! Whether you’re her first priority or not shat obviously does not appreciate your business. Definitely talk to someone else.

I’m DIYing my flowers, but I’ve heard that anemones are out of season in October. I love them too but I am keeping it simple and using cream colored roses.

ETA: lol “shat” was supposed to be “she” …I love autocorrect

@love108:  I honestly left it up to my florist she just give my pricing on the flowers and she said it would work. She has been very vague though. I don;t know if it will really come together. Luckily Im not super picky about flowers.
