Hey…. yes love to hear about this too! And our menus are in some ways similar! Sounds delicious, we just had our tasting last week, and are very pleased with our chef!

We’re doing family style, wasn’t a lover of the idea at first, but I think now that it goes really well with our venue, and over all style of our wedding.

Main Course

  • Cavatelli w Brocolli Rabe & Sun Dried Tomatoes, served with Garlic & EVOO

Haha I commented on your other post but I didn’t realize you’re having a May wedding. It’s coming up SO FAST!

Our wedding is going to be fairly casual with a guest list of 40, 90% family and 10% close friends. The venue is a ranch in the desert so with all that in mind, we nixed the plated dinner and went with a taco cart!

I’m vegetarian but my fiance eats meat so we’ve compromised:

Vegetarian tacos
Shrimp tacos
Mahi mahi tacos

The cart can also make quesadillas, burritos – basically anything you could think of with the ingredients on hand.

Chips, guac, and salsa are part of the package but I’m also considering a “heartier” app during the time we’re off taking pictures. Maybe jalapeno poppers? To tie in with the menu.

We’re having a dessert table with cream puffs, macarons, and smores for the bonfire pit. The cake we’re cutting will just be one tier for the sake of having something to cut 🙂

We haven’t even started on food!

However we do know: absolutely no nuts & no shellfish (neither mollusk nor crustacean)

And we will have cake, too.

we’re going super simple (ceremony is at 2pm, and wedding will end by 8pm) no apps, just pulled pork bbq, cole slaw, baked beans, mac & cheese, rolls, and then pecan pie and cheese cake (our favorites) for dessert!
