My husband is really into cigars so I got him 5 different ones, labelled for these occasions: our wedding night, our honeymoon, first year anniversary, second year anniversary and first baby. If he’s not into cigars that could probably be done with bottles of wine or something else!

My husband loves planes, so I bought him a flight lesson. And not too expensive – bought it through Groupon!

If it helps at all, my husband’s gift to me was a boat cruise around the island we got married on with a meat and cheese plate and wine, you could do something like that together!

Groom Gifts (and Bride Gifts) are all over the map… they usually are very much “personal” tokens of one’s relationship with the other person.

Traditionally, they’ve usually been Love Letters that were sent between the two as they got ready for the Wedding in seperate locations… the Groom often accompanying his note with a special piece of Jewellery that the Bride might way on her BIG DAY.

Gifts for Grooms have been a bit more diverse.  Keepsake items like Jewellery (especially engaged items) were common… a Watch, Cufflinks, Money Clip, Tie Stud / Clip etc

BUT oftentimes Brides will give Grooms items that represent their interests… Cigars, Wine, Brandy / Cognac, Sports Memorbilia etc

Maybe if you give us a ballpark on what your budget might be that could prove helpful in our making suggestions (as I said these types of gifts can run the gamut from FREE to several 1000 Dollars)

Hope this helps,

I got my husband tickets to a concert.  He absolutely loved it.  I also treated him to dinner that day and bought him as many drinks as he wanted at the show; however he only had 1 because it was so expensive and he felt bad for me paying for it lol.

I got my DH something to use on the honeymoon. We went on a cruise so I got him an ipod since he didn’t have one and I knew I’d like to use mine laying out by the pool. He was thrilled I got him something he could use for the honeymoon! I also got him a watch and wrote a tag saying ‘dont be late to the alter’ and socks with a tag saying ‘to keep you from getting cold feet’. Lol

My guy is getting a wedding. And a wife. Actually it’s the same thing he got for his birthday this year as well, lol.

I’m giving my fiance a scrapbook on the morning of our wedding during our first look shoot. I feel weird buying him something expensive because we already joined our accounts together to save money for the wedding so it would be like getting him something from himself. I just bought a nice one from Michaels and I’m going to put in stuff that I saved from our first date, some of the tickets from trips we went on together, photos, and a CD.

My FI and I are planning to pick out a new cologne/perfume for the other to wear on our wedding day. It will be special to wear something that he loves the smell of (and vice versa) and I hope that even after the wedding, everytime we wear those scents it will bring back all of the memories and emotions from that day!
