You don't have to get them all the same thing! Do differnet things within the same price range that compliments each girl. Try to get stuff that they can use AFTER the wedding.....
Some ideas:
necklace and earring set -- check out etsy.com (I'm in love w/ this website)
personalized LL Bean tote bag -- can costumize them, color, monogram
wristlets -- as part of my BMs gifts I got them a coach wristlet in one of my wedding colors....$35 at the outlets (had a 20% off coupon too)
Gift certificate to their favorite restaurnat and a bottle of wine
I got my girls little silver jewelry boxes on the knot for 6bucks. I was on an extreme budget. You can engrave their name for like 6 more dollars which would look sooooooo cute!! I didnt engrave them am i kinda regret it. But im going to see if i can find a place that will do it.
I was also going to recommend jewelry in their taste or personalized bags
A few others:
gift cert to favorite store or for a pedi or mani
coach bags bought at the outlet
flip flops or a beach bag with some beach things (i'm considering this because I have a seaside theme wedding :D)
customized robes to wear
books/movies/music
scrapbook of your favorite memories together...keepsake
I think it is fine to get the MOH something different. I play on getting mine (who happen to be my sis) a necklace of pearls that are expensive because she has wanted them for forever and can use them for the wedding.
This is what I got my bridesmaids. Hopefully it will help give you some ideas!
@FutureKMM! Please tell me where you got the wine glasses and purse hangars! The wine glasses are perfect for me to give my BMs. Well...maybe not. It's ME who is the wine drinker, they really aren't, as much. But it might still be neat to give that to them? I love the purse hanger because they make fun of me for mine!
@love: things remembered engraves stuff for cheap!
I found the wine glasses on Etsy! They are awesome. Totally going to do that. Hopefully there is enough time to get these for my wedding!
The best advice I've heard is to sit down and make a list of what you'd get them for christmas, or their birthday. Then get it. haha.
They'd appreiciate a personal pick 10XXXX more than a generic gift
@Misstnt: Sounds like you may have already found them but the wine glasses are from ETSY seller FizzyArtist. She also has her own website here: http://www.fizzyartist.com/WEDDINGS.html
The purse hangers I got from here: http://www.theweddingfavorbar.com/15017na.html They are only $5.25 each!
I got mine a compact with those Swar. crystals on it; a Nalgene Bottle with "skin" that was a picture of the location we were getting married (New River Gorge Bridge) with the city, state, and date on it, no names; and a necklace which was different for each bridesmaid. They're all different, but they all loved the Nalgene which was about $20 each.
I plan to purchase my girls jewlery and shoes for the wedding. I'm also considering something like a gift card to their fav restaurant or a gas card (wedding is not local). I have been a bridesmaid in several weddings, and I have gotten some random gifts before. The best thing I have gotten as a bridesmaid was a monogramed bag. I carry it all the time!! I also received slippers/flip flops to wear at the reception and loved them. I've also gotten things like candles, painted vases and a poem. They were really nice gifts but honestly they are still packed up in a box from my last move. As a bridesmaid, you spend so much money and time for someone else's day. You love them and don't mind it, but it still ads up. I would rather spend the money giving my BM gifts they will actually use vs something they won't ever look again. Also it is totally ok to give each girl a different gift. Find something that fits their personalities, they will appreciate the thought!
The best gift I got was personalized. And you can certainly give your MOH something more. My sister gave me more as her MOH and I will do the same.
This is going to look crazy but I got them each a sequined tank for the reception to wear with leggings. BM C joked about it but was serious because she loves sequins. I turned her down but then bought one for both of them to change into for the entrance to the reception. I'm not sure BM C will change back but she'll be happy. I also bought them silver/grey pashminas to wear with their dresses since it will be cold.
For a personalized gift to MOH T I also bought a headband for her to wear for the wedding so that she will stand out as MOH. It is a headband she's had her eye on for awhile. I also bought her two tickets for this local group that does a circus taster. They'll teach how to do the trapeze and how to wrap up in the aerial silks. I said it was crazy but my sister will be ecstatic! She loves doing stuff like that.
For a personalized gift to BM C I bought rings. The Cullen crest because she loves Twilight and the anchor because her husband is in the navy and she's been wanting to get an anchor tattoo.

I don't have a pic, but I got each of my BM charm bracelets.
I picked special memories, or trips we took together, or something they love and bought 5 charms (different for each girl of course) and wrote in their card, why I picked each charm. The 6th charm was the same for every girl which was a cowboy boot for them being in my wedding in Texas.
My girls loved them! It brought back memories & tears were flowing! Also, I took my favorite charm from each one of the girls and put them on my bouquet!
I love the wine glass idea and purse hanger idea! Where did you get them done at?
LOL Just actually read through all the posts. I got myself carried away and did not see your post on where you found them! Love that idea though!
I am getting my ladies their choice of a manicure or pedicure at the spa the day of the wedding, plus necklaces I bought last year when I was traveling (for work) to some awesome locales. I am also considering giving them each a bottle of wine in whatever color they usually drink. In my experience, when at a loss, go for consumables :)
I'm getting my BMs a small personalized jewelry box and a piece of fashion jewelry to put inside. My BMs aren't helping much with anything (which is totally fine-- I didn't ask them to do anything) so I don't really feel like I need to purchase them a really expensive gift. I feel like its a nice thank you for their support but its not extravagant.
And yes, I think it would be ok to get your MOH something nicer/ more expensive because she's helping more. Maybe give them their gifts separately so no one gets hurt feelings?
I am giving the ladies this necklace. It is based on the Philadelphia LOVE sculpture- but in hebrew so it combines heritage and location.
@AnnieAAA: I absolutely love that idea! Where did you buy the charms/ bracelets?
So many great ideas everyone!
@TheFutureMcBride - I LOVE your Nalgene with the personalized skin gift. I am totally going to steal that! :) We are getting married in Smoky Mountain National Park in Tennessee so I'm sure I can find a skin for there. I think my two girls will love the bottle. They both carry water everywhere with them, so it will be useful. When you made yours did you find the photo of your skin already in the gallery? Or did you upload your own photo?
@Miss Chole: I got them from Blue Mud Charms. All in all the bracelets for each girl were around $25, which was my budget! :)
I got mine...
These necklaces from Etsy to go with their dresses:

Old navy floppies:

DIY wine glasses with their names on them:
and a 'Bridesmaid Wedding Day Survival Kit' that I made (no pics of that). It was sort of expensive (moreso than I thought) but spread out over time was do-able.
One of the best bridesmaid gifts I've ever received when being in a wedding was the "Shemergency Kit", made by Ms. & Mrs. It's a similar idea to what twocatcupcake mentioned, but this is all pre-packaged for you with about 25 different items and I still carry it in my purse even 2 years after the wedding! For $25, it's a practical, fun gift to get your ladies. I loved receiving it.
I got a personalized LL Bean tote for a wedding I was in a few years ago and I still use it allll the time. She also included a bottle of wine with a nice note attached to it (so it looked like a wine label).
My bridesmaids and I have been keeping up a totally adorable "spa" theme - everything from the bridal shower the the bachelorette party is about indulging ourselves. To keep with our little tradition, I'm treating my bridesmaids to a full package of really nice bath products, manicure and beauty accessories...I'm so excited, I know they're going to LOVE it!
I got them these pins that they could put on their dresses or bouquets and a lot of them ended up putting them in their hair! Also some earrings and these bracelets.
i actually bought my bridesmaids their jeweley for the day of the wedding and a leather beer coozie with their inital on it
I'm sort of in the same boat! I have 7 bridesmaids and I have NO idea what to get them! I was thinking maybe cute clutches or something?

These are from ASOS online store and are only $42 dollars! I found them on The Knotty Bride and they are to die for! They come in a few different colors so you can each get your girl a different one?
This is from JCREW and is only $30 dollars!

This one is from Etsy and the seller has over 167 different designs and clutches to chose from! They range in prices from $20-$40 so you can get all your girls a different one to suit their personalities and still stay in budget!
Hope this helps!
@acharlestonbride: I really like the clutch idea...I have been thinking of doing that and putting the she emergency kit inside of it!
I'm doing a Birchbox for my MOH, and earring and a bottle of wine for my other girls.
I am going a little outside of the box with my gifts for the girls... i have been in a few weddings and have usually gotten the traditional wedding gifts but these girls mean a ton to me and i wanted to do something a little unusual... So... in addition to buying them jewelry, i have done a "favorite things" bag for each of them. Knowing all of them as well as i do i know what things they love, favorite color, wine, what they collect, etc and have created a bag for each of them with a few things.
For example one of my girls collects lolita wine glasses...so i got her a bottle of her favorite wine, a new glass, the jewelry, a framed photo of her and i and a candle from her favorite candle company in her favorite scent.
My sister doesnt collect anything but loves rustic/americana decor and that kind of thing..so i bought her some new decorations, a candle in her favorite scent, the jewelry of course, a photo of her and i...
im sure u get my idea ....
I just thought it'd be something different to do and things i know they'd enjoy =)
One of my favorite BM gifts I've gotten (and I've gotten a few) was a pink swiss army knife--just a small one. I believe she got it from theknot.com
I wanted to get my BMs and MOH similar, yet personalized stuff.
Here's what I ended up getting them (I may or may not have gotten carried away...):
My husband and I were engaged for a little over a year so I had some time to shop for the best deals.

So, I have no idea what to get my bridesmaids for their gifts. I have 6 maids and they all have completely different tastes and styles. I want to get them something I can afford, but also nice.
Also, is it okay to give the MOH a different and maybe even more expensive gift? My MOH is very hard working and dedicated.
Any gift ideas??
