@MizzNuNu:  Spanx are thin. I love those things.

I have a fit and flare as well and will definitely be sporting some spanx. My strapless bra is also seamless so that it won’t cause any ridges or bumps.

@MizzNuNu:  I am not wearing wedding dresses…but I have an hourglass shape that works well with fit-and-flare. Also, I am (slowly) building my wardrobe out of my college days, and learning about underwear. Laugh if you must, but I decided this year that I needed to join the 30-year old women world and start wearing some proper undergarments (as in NOT just my 20-buck 3-pack ‘T-shirt’ Bra’s from Victoria Secret).

My research has left me to conclude that for low-end coverage (top-to-bottom), the DKNY suits are a great option. Bonus: they also run cheaper then Spanx, and I feel like they give you a wayyyy more natural shape then the Spanx Bra’s and ‘under-bra’ bodysuits (which have some enhancement features on the rear that I’m not particularly fond of).

Here is one option I love: http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/dkny-fusion-shaping-bodysuit/3195622?origin=category&fashionColor=Skinny+Dip&resultback=1938

On the expensive side, I really think Chantelle garments are a great addition to any girls wardrobe. I only have one at the moment (http://www.brasmyth.com/product/2184/sexy-shaping-bodysuit?brandid=1) but WOW, does it make my body-rock in the fitted torso dresses. I also am a 36-C and I think the coverage is more solid and fitted then my sports bra. I am saving to buy a bra soon, since I’m fairly certain the quality is going to be just as good for that.

Good luck!
