I’ve noticed recently in real life as well as in commercials that rings are worn on the right ring finger now instead of the left. Is this some kind of new trend? I know in different cultures wedding bands are worn traditionally on the right but I was wondering, for a majority of you ladies (and your men) what hand is the wedding bad/ering on?

The poll only allows us to make one selection.
Left for both of us.
ETA: Nevermind, works now. 🙂

I will wear my ring on my left, FI will wear his on his right. He had an injury to his left index finger that involves nerve damage and it is uncomfrotable for him to wear his ring on his left hand.
We both wear bands on our right hand any way and you’d be surprised how few people even ask if we’re married or not -they just assume or don’t take time to look at the fingers.

I wear my ring on my left and Mr.ND will as well. I’m also getting a separate wide band that I can wear on either, so it will be on my right hand most of the time, and then on the left if I decide not to wear my solitaire that day.

Left for me, and he will wear his on his left too.

I picked left for both of us, but I agree that I have been seeing that more often

i picked both options for me–my ering doesn’t fit with a band, so i wear it on my right hand and wedding band on my left. hubs wears his wedding ring on his left

This is based on my culture:
Right ring finger for engagement.
Left ring finger for marriage – both bride and groom. If the man wears an e-ring he can put it on the right hand too, I’ve seen this in a program.

I wear my e-ring on the left, and plan to stack my wedding ring with it. He wears his engagement ring on his right hand and will wear his wedding band on the left, cause it’d look a little silly stacked 🙂

i sorta interchange lol, but i voted we are both lefties. my right hand actually fits my ering more snug (im right handed), so sometimes when its colder i like to switch to my right hand, but still keep my wedding band on my left 🙂

Left hands for both of us.
People do wear their wedding rings on the right hand in Denmark, Norway and Sweden.

Left hand. I know one woman who wears hers on the right hand.

Sometimes on TV it will look like the person is wearing the wedding ring on the right hand, but it really isn’t. Maybe that’s what you saw?
