she probably left because a bunch of bees were being ASSHATS to her! seriously, every post had at LEAST one horrible comment.

She just updated her personal blog about her wedding shower. I'm not sure why she isn't on WB anymore. could it just be a glitch?

There were lots of mean comments about her bridesmaids dresses (like A LOT! she had around 70 comments total the last time I checked it but not all of them were mean). Ever since she got mean comments on that post, random people (mostly anon), started writing mean comments on her newer posts referring to the bridesmaids dresses.
Maybe they just took her posts down to give a chance for everything to simmer down so that more mean comments wouldn't be added. Plus it would give them a chance to look over the old ones? Not sure, just my guess. Unless she decided to step down as a bee.
@sugarpea: Ah, that makes sense. I saw that post and was not a fan, but a) it's not my wedding, and b) they're not my friends!
@vorpalette: @stardustintheeyes: every time she posted about her bridesmaids dresses, people would make fun of them, call them tacky, etc. i felt so bad for her. the last post she made was talking about the dresses, and i said something about how sorry i was about bees being rude, and that's the last time i saw her posts. i think that was yesterday or the day before.
@sugarpea: that makes me so mad!!! Her dresses were not mainstream but they fit exactly what she wanted for her wedding! I thought the whole concept was adorable and fun. If the dresses and details suit what her and her FI wanted, that's all that should have mattered. People can really be mean!
@sugarpea: That is just so sad!!!!! She was so sweet and to know bees on here are doing that just breaks my heart a little. This is supposed to be a fun place of support not bashing and catty-ness I get enough of that from women in my office don't need to see it and read it on the bee too!!! Sad face on this one.... hope the Bee steps in and does something to get this wrangled up.

That's sad, I saw her post about the dresses and didn't read the comments. She seemed so excited about them, yeah they are definitely not mainstream but good for her for doing her own thing and owning it! So sad that she's gone from here, I wanted to see the progression of her wedding!

People are a-holes. There's no reason to be mean. Something may not be to your taste and/or style but there is no reason for you to purposely try to hurt someone's feelings over it.

I think some people could not take her seriously. But who cares, right? Different strokes for different folks. I'm surprised she left, poor thing!
Ugh...Miss Bat was one of my favorite bloggers. Sure, the Disney Princess bridesmaid dresses aren't everyone's cup of tea, but she was going with her own vision. Does everything "different" have to end in flaming? :(
@September29: no I was not expecting those comments. Just because it's the internet does not make it ok to be mean simply because it is not to someone's face. The comments hurt all the same whether they are in person or on the internet. And yes they were disney princess themed dresses. But if they aren't in your wedding (or anyones wedding that commented in a mean way) then what does it matter? I personally don't like the vintage craze that's happening. I think it's overdone. Bird cages just seems weird to me to have at a wedding. But if the next girl wants a vintage wedding with a bird cage card box, awesome! it's her wedding and if bird cages make her happy then that makes me happy too since what we all really want is for all of us to have a wedding that makes us each happy after all is said and done. So she wanted princess themed dresses, its no skin off of anyone elses's back! so people were just plain rude and there was no reason for it.

I love Miss Bat! She is doing a wedding that I would never ever do and I wanted to watch her journey. I saw her post about the bridesmaid dresses and thought to myself that I wouldn't do that, but I would never say anything hurtful. Come back, Miss Bat, you're so cute!
