I’m guessing that since her posts are still available, she is probably just busy with married life.  If something serious happens with the bees, their posts and profile are usually deleted.  A lot of the older married bees aren’t too vocal on the blog anymore.

I *believe* she was one of the bees that left when the site was sold to eharmony but I could be wrong

Nope, she just left because she felt her time here was done & he wrote about it here, it wasn’t because of the eHarmony thing.  I used to have her blog address, but can’t find it at the moment.  But does she look familiar? 🙂  She really was great, though, and I do miss having her around because she cracked me up, lol.

I believe she decided to take down or privitize her personal blog, but don’t quote me on that.

I used to have her personal blog on my Google Reader, and I really enjoyed it! She is probably my all-time favorite Bee (I think she is for a lot of people). But, as far as I know, she made her blog private. I don’t know if she still keeps it or what.

I just was looking back at Lovebug’s posts, and she references her new blog in her second to last post.  Unfortunately, it looks like she sold the domain name at some point:

http://www.theluckynest.com/

It’s some kind of gambling site now 🙁

I keep hoping she’ll stop back by the bee for another Lovebug drive-by…but alas, she does not.

Weddingbee was sold to eHarmony in October of 2008, and many Bees left because of their feelings towards eHarmony and its policies on the dating site.

The Big News

Actually, whoever said that Mrs. LB left because of the eHarmony thing was right – see this comment on that post:

@Gilneas: Nice work finding that, I totally stand corrected! 🙂

You guys are both right – she wrote a farewell post on June 8th that Lillindy linked to… and then also commented in October on the big news post with a second farewell of sorts.

@skibobrown – I don’t think she sold her URL to a gambling site… she probably just moved URLs, and domainers bought her old address when it expired (maybe b/c it had the word lucky in it).

Mrs. Lovebug is a wonderful blogger, and we wish her nothing but the best!

Oh you crazy people.  Have you nothing better to do than ponder my whereabouts?  Wink

I’m perfectly fine, thank you so much – just super busy!  But I wrote you lovelies a quick message, which you can view here.

Now get back to wedding planning!…or whatever it is that goes on around here.
