I want to know this, too! I'd love to have a stress-free week leading up to the wedding.
Honestly, we didn't do a lot the weekend before. Maybe it was because I didn't do a lot of DIY but I'm not sure. I made sure that I heard from all vendors a week before just to be safe.
And looking at the post after me, I didn't get any calls from people about things with the wedding. Maybe my family is more low maintenance.
We finished pretty much all the prep before, and that final week was just delivering everything to the venues and confirming with vendors. MOST of my time was spent fielding questions from family and friends. Don't underestimate how much energy that takes--my phone was ringing off the hook with incoming guests asking about silly tiny things. The more you can finish before that last week, the better! Plan to just put out fires 
That's good to hear... I just hear from so many people, "I was a machine! I didn't eat! I didn't sleep!"--- but I never hear why. Thanks for the heads up on dealing with inane questions. I'm already wondering why I bothered making this super detailed website :)
Ha! I hear you on the website. We had soooo much info on the website that people simply ignored and preferred to ask personally. Right, like I have nothing better to worry about than where you are going to eat dinner the Thursday before the wedding

Any responses (especially from the newlywed bees) would be so helpful--- what did you do the weekend before your wedding? I'm assuming that it will be very busy but I'm not sure why or with what! Just confirming things with vendors? Finishing put-off DIY projects? Anything else?
