This is a spinoff from the “what has your FI done to be awesome lately” thread… I realized he’s done too many things to count, but I had trouble thinking about what I’ve done lately…which means I’ve got to step up my game. So I’m hoping for some inspiration from fellow bees!
(Wives, girlfriends, fiancés, boyfriends and husbands all weclome to particpate too!)
So, what awesome thing have you done for him (or her) lately?

oops, and could someone move this to a more general category… lounge maybe? it isn’t meant to be specific to those getting married in aug

This weekend was Evo, the biggest fighting tournament event out there. I don’t really give a crap about fighting games, but my FI eats, breathes and sleeps for that stuff. Our weekends have been packed for months and will be up until the wedding. I made sure he was able to watch every moment of the event that he wanted to no matter where he was, and didn’t complain or demand attention so he could focus on his first love.
I’m marrying a fighting game guy. I have been a widow every time a new release comes out. A weekend was nothing!

I cook him 3 meals a day, keep the house spotless, and do all the errands!

When he returned from Drill this past weekend. I cooked some delicious lasagna and we had a candle lit dinner with wine and dessert followed by a nice back massage.

@MrsFutureG: LOL…I completely understand that!! FI plays games AND makes games, so I got a double whammy…lately it’s been that new college football game that’s out, or he’s working on the graphics for his own game he’s making. Somehow, I got suckered into drawing up the concept art for his game!

I bought my fiance a new Samsung Galaxy because we live in separate countries and his iphone was broken so whatsapp, skype or any other app wasn’t working. We really need the wifi and that technology to communicate, and he is definitely not the type of person to go buy a new phone. Especially since in Jordan the phones are marked at full price (no contracts like in America where you get it for $200)….He mentioned how great the Samsung phones looked compared to the iphone and I surprised him with it before I left for the airport! I had a good idea… He was sick and he had to take medicine so I took the medicine out of the box and snuck the phone inside! He was really surprised and now we don’t have to worry about communication! He has given me so much and I was happy to surprise him, especially since I think we all know how difficult it can be to shop for or surprise our men sometimes…

I bought him custom motorcycling pants. He calls his current ones “clown pants” as the minimum stock size they make riding pants in long lengths is 34, and he needed 32s.
They fit perfectly, he just rode off to work in them.

I secretly bought the perfect sunglasses to give to him on our wedding day. I ran home every day to check the mail so he wouldn’t find out I had ordered it. So I’m an awesome fiance, but he doesn’t know it yet!!!
He still has me beat in terms of awesomeness but I’m a close second.

He got really drunk at his friend’s all day bachelor party. Instead of nagging him about it, I took care of him and went out at 4 am to get him some 7uP when he asked for it. I did grumble a bit about not being able to get any sleep though. 😛

- Wedding: August 2013 - Rocky Mountains USA
I bought us a house and supported us for a year while he finished school and then was in a horrible deep clinical depression. He’s gonna owe me for a while! 😉 I’d do it a million times over though.

He actually complained that I haven’t been paying attention to him, so I have stepped that up. I do lots of little things, like putting his burgers together at BBQ’s, bringing him a drink, supporting him and listening to his frustrations. Him airing frustration is a new thing, so it is taking some getting used to. It’s not that he doesn’t get upset, it’s just that he doesn’t want to get ME upset. So, I have helped him to feel like he can tell me ANYTHING, just as I have always been able to do .
