I try to do something good atleast once a day… little things that will hopefully make someone do something nice for someone else…
So Bees, what have you done nice recently??
The last 3 things i can think of,
- FI and I OVERLY tipped our waitress.. our bill was $30, we tipped her $20
- A guy went out of his way to hold the door open for me, so i bought him his coffee.
- a lady had two coffees today and was struggling with getting the door open, so i opened BOTH doors for her, she seemed shocked that someone would do such a thing.
I like doing little things to possibly change someones mood that day =)

I love this thread! Thanks for the idea
Hmm well my day pretty much just started out, but it’s a good goal that I’d like to have. I’ll post on here after I do a few things 🙂

@MusiqueEstVie: youll notice that once you do one small simple thing for someone… youll keep doing it, and not to sound like a geek, but it feels awesome knowing that someones day may have changed b/c of you.

Aww that’s so nice of you! I always try to hold the door open for people if they’re within range, or if they’re elderly, handicapped, or have little babies. Last night I took dinner to my boyfriend and suprised him with the new Madden 13 game that he wanted to get the night before but couldn’t because he was working late. Definitely made his night 🙂

I see the same homeless guy roaming the streets near my work from time to time, so whenever I have leftovers from the night before, I take them with me to work and give it to him as I drive by. Sometimes I’ll leave a $5 bill in there and a bottle of water too. Haven’t seen him for the past week or so, so hopefully he’s alright.

I helped out an older lady on the commuter rail the other day who didn’t have enough money for her ticket. She hadn’t realized that they didn’t take credit cards, so I covered her fare.

Yesterday I prevented TWO people from getting hit by cars in a grocery store parking lot. Parking lots can be kind of nutty to begin with, but even more so right after work when people are in a hurry to pick something up and get home.
Two cars were starting to back up into each other and finally one stopped backing up and let the other go. Then car 2 took forever and a day to back up. In the meantime, a guy was walking along and didn’t realize car 2 had started backing up and he was about to get hit, so I yelled at him to get out of the way. Then he got in his car.
An elderly man and I were waiting patiently for car 2 to move it along so we could proceed to the store. The elderly man was standing near the first guy’s car when he started backing up and was about to hit the elderly man! So I yelled at the elderly man to move.
It was crazy. I felt like I needed to stay there to play Parking Lot Police. :-/

I ordered a case of dog food for a special needs dog. He has been adopted by a worker who works at the shelter he came into and has his own facebook page now (Joey Pepper). He’s a boxer who was born with deformed front legs, and the breeder was going to put him in a freezer to kill him. Luckily, someone stepped in to help and now he’s got a loving family and lots of friends who watch his progress! 🙂

Oh I like this topic.
I called both my grandmother and my hubbys grandmother. That probably doesn’t seem like much, but I am pretty sure I made both of their days.

@GFerg: I think I read about that! The article I read even mentioned someone buying special dog food for the dog….must’ve been you. 🙂
I like to give my daily parking pass to someone as I’m leaving (I paid for the full day – might as well give it to someone). I gave it to an elderly man the other day and you’d have thought I gave him a million bucks. It made me feel good that he was so happy.
