I’m 27 weeks pregnant and already have some stretch marks on my tummy that are pretty red. I knew I would get stretch marks during pregnancy because I got them pretty badly during puberty. What have you used, if anything, that helped lighten them? Ideally, I would like to start treating them now.

I was rubbing a million things on my skin to prevent them from coming but low and behold: my boobies, tummy, my sides, between my legs and the back of my knees got some huge zebra marks! I can proudly announce that they lightened to the point where you cannot see them. They are even a little lighter than my unstretched skin. They fade naturally.
Sad to say, but as the baby grows, so does the stretch marks. The skin stretches to accomodate the size of the baby.

@tiff-tiff-tiff: Yeah, mine from puberty have lightened to be lighter than my skin. The ones I have from puberty are there the new ones are starting to form 🙁

I get stretch marks really easily too. The best thing to use is Avon brand stretch mark cream. Use it now to fade the red ones and to prevent more from appearing. After they turn white there is unfortunately not much you can do. It worked great for me and helped alot.

I already had them on my body for the last 10+ years. Most had finally faded, now I have new bright red ones. I’ve given up. I’ve tried all the products out there, nothing works, even Vitamin E. It’s all worth it in the end though.

I think time is the only thing that truly works…the rest is just false marketing!

@Cory_loves_this_girl: Mederma and Jergens Skin Firming Lotion. I don’t have children but I lost a lot of weight in my early twenties.
