i visited a friend in Maui this year, and while I didn't stay there, I had the occasion to visit the Four Seasons Wailea. It was absolutely gorgeous! We had dinner at Spago, and then took a stroll around the hotel. I would stay there in a heartbeat if its in your budget.
Check out the Ritz Carlton too! We are staying there in July and have heard nothing but good thigns. You can get a club level room there for the equivalent of the four seasons or fairmont price. It is more than the sheraton but to me it felt worth it. Check out the american express starwoods card. We were able to book it for a steal using our points and some cash. Hope that helps!
I'm not sure of their prices, but we used the pool at the grand wailea in Maui and it was AMAZING!They had a lazy river and water slides and a swim up bar... so cool.
When we went to Maui we stayed at the Papakea resort I really liked it. It was kinda like a condo it had a kitchen and two bedrooms and a living room. It had a big pool and they served continental breakfast.

We are trying to decide between the Four Seasons (splurge), Fairmont and Sheraton. Anyone been to any of them?
