They look very, …. interesting?

I have had my fair share of cooking disasters.  I was visiting a boyfriend in college and he got called into work for a few hours.  I thought I’d be nice and make some macaroni & cheese (yes, I know, so very gourmet of me!), well, let’s just say I set off the smoke alarm & ruined a pot just trying to boil water.  Embarassed

It’s the thought that counts.

For the record, I’d like to add that I would eat those cupcakes without a second thought.  As long as they taste good I don’t give a hoot what they look like!!

Ha, love it!!  And love your sense of humor about it. None of us who like to bake escapes without a few, um, shall we say, “less than perfect” results. 😀

If you want to make them again, take them out when a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs on it – NOT when it comes out clean, no matter what the recipe says. This will prevent them from getting dry/overbaked.
