I am doing our own spin on this invitation as I am IN LOVE with the concept and as this couple had a story to share so do we. My only problem is the size…. how do I mail this out??? The document I made was originally 4 x 11.5 I can smush it down to 4 x 10.5 to fit in a size 12 envelope I guess OR I could fold it (which I really down want to do).
Thoughts… suggestions …… anything… HELP!

Personally I would probably make it on HUGE paper and then fold it like this:
into a business sized envelope.
But if you REALLY don’t want to fold it, I would look for bigger envelopes! or scale it down like you said 🙂

It looks like you need to look for #12 or #14 envelopes – this site might have some: http://www.paper-papers.com/envelope-size-chart.html

have you considered rolling them? you could make them a bit wider than the 4 inches…. and roll them, ship them in a tube?

@VagabondGurl: i second the rolling idea! that was my first thought! you could roll it and tie with a great cord or ribbon! dont know how much mailing tubes cost though?

Yeah maybe it could be sent as a poster of sorts- or I would do a trifold- bottom folds up, top folds down over that- This reminds me of letterpress- let me know if you want to know of a great old school press (I know of one that could make something like this- I love letterpress!).

Rolling it, then tying with a ribbon would be adorable, love your invitations!
