we're lucky and our venue has indoor ballrooms. So if it rains or the weather is horrible, our backup plan is to use the ballroom at an added price (i forget how much it is)

I think you're back up plan sounds good. if you have tents & heaters, I think that'd be fine.

I think it's great that your venue has an indoor ballroom that you could use if ever it does rain!
We are doing a beach wedding, and all our venue options have indoor options as well. I still think I'll be upset to have to use it, but i couldn't handle the stress of not having a dry option haha
There is no Plan B. I'm just praying & hoping & wishing & waiting. I wasn't too worried about it, but our weather has been so strange this summer I have NO idea what to expect. I guess there's always last minute tent rental?
@sbbridebythesea: Ditto! Our wedding is lakeside @ a park, so I hope to God we have decent weather!
@sbbridebythesea: this makes me relieved. we hope to get married in sb around sept/oct and i want it to be outdoors too!
Ours will be outside but it will be in a park pavillion, the way it's designed I think it will provide enough protection from the rain. We may all have to huddle together but it should be okay.
Pop a xanax and move to the indoor back-up (not as pretty, sadly)

I'm thinking umbrellas, moving the moms, aunts into an indoor area (the rest of the space have tents and massive heaters) and giving away pashminas to women.
Am I missing something? What's your Plan B?
