Are you having a sit down dinner or buffet. If it's a buffet, there's no need to worry about the extras. I am sure people will go back for more.
Its a sit down dinner where we asked guests on the invite if they wanted chicken or steak and I had to send in the final number last week and we found out this week there might be some no shows!
OH NO!! That's the worse! I hate that you can't take it home. Will there be anyone at the venue that you might want to share a dinner with? Like maybe your contact person?
That sucks. : / Do you know someone who tends to take second helpings? Or maybe this could be food for your band/DJ/photographer?
I was thinking we could give it to the DJ because we only asked for the discount meal for him...so might as well let someone have it!
There you go.....I just assumed that your vendors were in the count. I think that is a good idea to feed him/her.

We just found out we may have a guest or two that will be a no show and our wedding is this Saturday. So I was wondering what happens to the food we already paid for???? Well said food is pretty much gone! Their insurance policy doesnt allow their food to leave from the venue. So what about your venue and no show guests...what happens to their food?
I know it happens but it sucks losing out on something that is already paid for. Anyone want a 2nd helping while your here?!
