Okay, so I want to come down the aisle to “She’s Your Queen to Be”. Yes. The one from Coming to America.
(The uninitiated can check out a clip of the song here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1llNqINuuv8)
I love that movie (as does my Fiance and all of our friends), and I think it would be hilarious and fun to come down the aisle to that one. The lyrics are perhaps not *exactly* what I would want to be walking down the aisle to (and singing about me being free from infection may be a little too much for my mom!), so I wanted to have the ceremony musician play an instrumental version so those in the know can know, and for everyone else, it will just sound like some random nice song.
Clearly, haven’t had any luck on the web trying to find an example of an instrument doing an instrumental version of the song. Is there anyone out there with a better ear than I that could think of a what instrument would sound good playing this song (and make it recognizable)?
Add to this that I want to use the ceremony musician to do music during the cocktail hour as well, so I want it to be an instrument (or max, a pair of instruments) that will sound good playing songs on its own later on.
