we are getting married at the US airforce Academy chapel and they have a huge organ that we will be using :)
We got married in a restored chapel from the 1800s that included a VERY old Steinway upright piano. It felt wrong NOT to use it! lol. So we had just a piano for our ceremony music.
We are having a brass quartet (I voted for Trumpet). I think that means two trumpets, a trombone and... I don't know what else :) FI is in charge of the music.
Acoustic guitar for the processional, choir for the ceremony (which I assume comes with piano, so I checked off piano as well).
I'm going to see if I can get a string trio or quartet together for the ceremony. The fi wants a brass quartet.
For the record I'm a violist and he's a trombonist. Haha...this could be a problem.
@Kate2012: My fiance was a trumpeter for a million years, so that's how I lost that battle. :)
We're having an organist and a trumpeter. The songs that we chose featured trumpet far more heavily than violin, which prompted our decision. (Our preferences might have been shaped by the fact that I played trumpets for ages though!)
We are going to have 2 acoustic guitarists, which I am fairly excited about. Two of our friends have graciously accepted to play for us. I also get to put my college degree to work (music major here) to good use and arranging the music myself.
We are having a piano, bass guitar, drum trio for most of the music and an organ for the bridal processional and a postlude at the end.
We are having classical flute and guitar music. I am very excited, it will be so lovely!
@Alli259: I had a cello and violin--a little cheaper than a quartet. It was sooo beautiful--one of my favorite parts of my wedding.
Can you add bagpipes to the poll, or an "other" option. We're having bagpipes and that's all :) Can't wait!
I am trying to find an acoustic guitarist for the ceremony and am having the hardest time!! I thought for sure someone would know someone....not happening for me right now. :(
@kperry3: It won't let me add them unfortunately... the edit option is gone :( If it comes back I will add them for sure.
string quartet. i used to play violin, so i def wanted strings :)

Just curious... what instruments are you having during your wedding ceremony?
Vote for all that apply.
If there are any missing let me know and I will add them in.
