So we decided to DIY our invites, but now we can't decide which one to choose.

So I made rough mock-ups of each one. I only did the printing on standard printing paper but it will be done on a laser printer on white coardstock. The other papers shown are cardstock as well. The ribbons will be tucked in behind so you won't see the rough edges. Like I mentioned before these are just rough mock-ups. I also thought about adding a single rhinestone on top of the knot in the ribbon...would that look ok or would it be "too much"?

So what do you fello bees think?

I like the depth it gives with the two different colors (black and decorative :D)

But, it would probably be cheaper and less stressful for the one with only black

    Yay you got them up!

I chose the 3 layer design with ribbon! I think it is fancy and elegant!

Love the two layered options with ribbon, but I am sure they will be a hassle to make for everyone. I would definitely leave off the rhinestone, and base whether my vote for 3 or 4 layers on how many you need to make. ;) Over 65? 3 layers. Under? 4 layers.

just so everyone knows the first picture is of the black border, the second of the decorative, the third of the 3 layer and the 4th of the 4 layer... hahaha 3 and 3 and 4 and 4! it was an accident!

I like the 3 layers.  Very elegant.  4 layers is kind of overdoing it, but still nice also.  Still my vote is for #3.
