I have a huge problem with my arms my lower body is a size 14-16, and I’m
comfortable with that, but my dilemma is my arms. They are huge, while the lower
portion of my arm doesn’t match the top because its very slender. Can anyone help
me with ideas. I have just recently started working out but i need tips on loosing my
arms. Here is a picture

Well I’m sure many other bees with respond with various strength training exercises to tone and tighten, plus there is Yoga which makes you do a million push ups (arms of steeel!!!) so I won’t focus on that.
For a quick fix when taking photos don’t squish your arms against your body, flattening them out. Instead hold your arms so they are barely touching your side. I swear it makes all the difference in world. I just started doing this and have found myself much happier with photos.

@deandrea.love: I agree with @Treejewel19. I need to find some good workouts to get mine in shape. But first off, you’re gorgeous and that gown complements you beautifully! Have you considered adding some kind of cap sleeve?
I’m pretty conscious of my arms, and will be converting mine to off-the-shoulder lace cap sleeves. It makes me feel very comfortable and my family thinks it looks even more amazing and classy by doing this (FYI my gown still needs to have alterations done). So here’s my dress and this is how the sleeves will look (will be spaced further apart but you get the idea):

You could also consider a wrap or bolero jacket for your formal photos and ceremony.

I can relate because I have upper arms that I feel have a lot of extra fat on them. From a fitness perspective, diet and exercise will help you lose fat overall but you can’t pick where it comes off from. It’s usually distributed over your body. I’ve noticed my arms are more shaplier since I’ve been lifting heavy weights but they still have a lot extra fat. I more or less made peace with it and went strapless at my reception. I wore a bolero for the ceremony for religious reasons but it did help me to feel more comfortable.

I’ve found Pilates to be really good for building more slender muscle. Maybe an idea?
