I’ve got a makeup artist doing my makeup but she did not have foundation light enough for me so recommended I get my own, I have been trying to find a good foundation that is not too heavy but will cover any potential breakouts that could occur on the wedding morning and, is also going to last most of the day, we have a 1pm wedding and will be with guests till midnight. I have a tried Laura mercier but that somehow made my skin look old, I really liked how youthful I looked with Lancombe teint miracle but it did not last very long on my skin. I am wondering about smashbox but not sure how thick it is and, also Bobbi Brown or any others that anyone can recommend, thank you all in advance 🙂

@balletbride: I have fair combination skin, and I will be using the Smashbox 15 hr longwear foundation. I’ll be using the lightest shade, and I also suffer from breakouts. I like this foundation because it allows buildable coverage without making it look too cakey. I highly recommend it!

I bought Make Up Forever HD as I’ve read a ton of good things about it. It comes in quite a few shades also.

How fair are we talking?
I am pale too- Think Mac NW05-10 if that makes any sense to anyone.
There are a few foundations that I like and that photograph well.
Nars Sheer Glow in Siberia is beautiful and pale.
Illamasqua has a few types of liquid foundation that come in beautifully pale shades.
For drugstore- Loreal True Match in N1 is a favourite and Rimmel’s Match Perfection in 010 is great too!
Graftobian cream foundations are meant to be fantastic too.
