katem73:  same thing as a ring guard, maybe you’ve heard it called that before? Your e-ring slides into it, here’s a few examples:

RedheadMeggs:  So it just just like a wedding band + an anniversary band that are soldered together?

CanadianBride456:  I wouldn’t consider it a wedding and anniversary band as a lot of girls I know chose to up their amount of bling by going with an enhancer from the get-go instead of a wedding band. I’m also thinking about an enhancer because I prefer the symmetrical look. They aren’t really soldered together, connected like this:

you could also get one that compliments a solitiare that makes it look like more diamonds on the engagement ring and a band but the extra diamonds and ring are one band:

RedheadMeggs:  Oh ok, I think I kinda get it a bit better now. They’re called enhancers because they enhance your ring? Like with more bling or something?

I tried one on and I thought it looked great, but the downside for me was it can’t really be worn alone without looking weird? Like if I was going on a trip or someplace where I just wanted to wear my wedding ring, I couldn’t do that with an enhancer.

a_day_at_the_fair:  You can always buy a plain band for that. I said that too, and then realized I hate being without my e-ring. I either wear a set (I have three, soon to be four bands to mix and match {and I’m cringing at how privileged that sounds}), or I go bare handed (I forgot a lot).
