My mom said she went to the bridal boutique to get her dress hemmed and that the boutique was SWARMED with brides trying on dresses.
Are the holidays a big time for proposals? I know Jan/Feb are slow wedding months but is it a big time to look for dresses after getting engaged?

@FleeSircus: I think most engagements happen in Nov-Dec or April-June (holidays, graduations, big life events time, etc), so that would make sense! I bought my dress at the end of May and I was the only one in the store the three times I went, but I’m assuming that was because most people were acutally getting married around that time and had purchased their dresses earlier!

I think Thanksgiving-Valentine’s Day is considered “Engagement Season.”
