It's Charlotte Restaurant Week here in NC! I'm so excited, because I can eat at all the places that are usually too expensive for me. I'm probably also going to a techno club with some friends. Not my idea, but FI promised these people we would be there.
well, the exciting news for us is signing up for renter's/car insuarnce tonight. Glad to finally have that out of the way!
Then probably more cross-stitching, a drink or two, and cuddling because it's cold and snowy outside!
Tomorrow I'm going to visit my BFF 1.5 hours away for the last time before she has her baby (hopefully this storm doesn't send her into labor!). Haven't seen her since Thanksgiving, so I'm looking forward to catching up!
Other than that, not too much else.
DH has an office party. It is one with two different offices coming together and have a casino night at a fancy hotel. We will be going out with friends once the party is over and then staying at the hotel.
It will be nice to have a night away with no kids. I am really looking forward to it.
Im under the weather so my plans for this weekend has changed, originally i was going to host a girls night with a passion party, drinks and food.
Alas, tonight and tomorrow most of the day I will just be resting- tomorrow evening my BF is coming to visit, we live 2 hrs apart and due to schedules dont get to see each other often ( last time was my bday in nov!)
Sunday my FI and BF and I are headed to a showcase, at the resort that is leading our venue choices..im hoping the food and everything wins FI over so we can put deposit down! Then one of my FI bosses will be coming to dinner. My FI is known for his turkey so we will be making a 25 pounder this weekend!
Going out to dinner tomorrow night, then having alllll of sunday to do whatever we want! Well, other than church in the morning- we're thinking of going down to where we used to live an hour away and go to the big stores like Wegman's and Whole foods that we never get to go to anymore :)
Tomorrow I plan on cleaning our apartment and then relaxing :)
Then tomorrow night our friends are coming over. We'll probably go to Saturday evening mass, then dinner, then cosmic bowling. I'm super excited!
It sounds like everyone has some fun things planned this weekend!
@shalynnmarie: I love turkey, that's so great that your FI makes it and that's a massive turkey!!
Swing dancing tonight, Chinese New Year party tomorrow (so excited for the food!), and Ravens Pats game party Sunday. Somehow finding time to write a paper in that? Good luck to me...
We will be seeing Beauty and the Beast tonight, with dinner out before. Tomorrow, we'll visit a winery, and Sunday will be the normal errand day. Oh, we also frequent Starbucks for a couple hours of reading on Sunday nights. Wow... who knew mid-20's were so old!
@Bichon Frise: Restaurant week! woo hooo - how could i forget?! def need to make a reservation!
Wow, everyone's weekend sounds more exciting than mine. Ours will be to clean house and take care of muchkin.
I think we're going to see a couple dj's in Brooklyn tonight. We're not usually this wild so it should be fun :)
Ms. Gremmlin We went and saw Beauty and the Beast in 3D with our friends last weekend. It was actually super fun and romantic. As we left the theater we were all dancing and singing in the parking lot. And I told DH he was my beast ;) lol, he liked that.
Seeing two venues! After that, we'll just have two left before we can make a shortlist for in-law approval (they're paying for a significant portion).
Tomorrow's plans depend on snow intensity - whether or not we can make it to dinner at a friend's house. Sunday is a musical followed by Philadelphia restaurant week!
Some of ya'll have great weekend plans!
We're supposed to go house hunting with our realtor tomorrow, but the forecast is calling for a mix of snow, sleet, and ice. I'm not sure that traipsing around on country roads is the best idea. We'll have to see what really happens with this storm and then decide. Then on Sunday we are having brunch with the family to celebrate my birthday, and topping the day off with a whole lot of football. My team is playing in the AFC Championship game and I am soooooo stoked. GO RAVENS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Quiet weekend pretty much iced in at home. :P
DH and I want to go to a mill nearby for our favorite huge breakfast sometime this weekend.... they have this thing called the 'garbage omlet'.... pretty much everything but the kitchen sink with freshly baked wheat bread cut thcikly for toast.... ahh my mouth is watering XD I love that place.
We are involved in a pretty active church, so most Sundays we have a potluck lunch after the service.
I also am working on studying for my social work license!
We made two big batches of Limoncello last night. Today we are going to figure out what to do with all 90 of the lemons we skinned for the batches.
Thinking about going to a bridal show in Atlanta this afternoon, but the weather is so yuck, I might just stay in and watch Food Network all day.
working and sleeping mainly. With a smattering of Weddingbee and Facebook during the boring times of night shift.

We don't really have any fun plans this weekend so I am looking for some ideas!
So far we are going out for supper with friends tonight that's about it.
What's everyone else up to?
