That would probably cause me to turn bright red and fume too, even if it wasn't a wedding invite- but then again, I can't stand typos, they make me crazy!
You'll be okay :) Going through a freakout phase one or two months before the wedding is pretty common. Just make sure to take some time to yourself to breathe every now and then. You'll be cool, calm and collected again in no time!
@jouissance: Me neither! Especially with names...I am so careful when spelling people's names. Maybe I should highlight my name at the bottom of the emails so they will catch it? JK...there I go again! haha
@linguo42: I already feel better after typing that out. Its a good thing FI won't be home for awhile....it will give me some time to decompress. :)
Did you have a melt down in front of anyone (aside from your FH)? If not, don't feel too bad. I would think it very strange that someone would take the time to throw me a shower, etc, and not take the time to figure out how to spell my name. And if I was super stressed (or PMSing) that might have set me off too. You said it was his grandma and aunt, so they get some slack, but in general, I think it's rude to spell someone's name wrong.
Well the least damn thing they could do is make sure they spelled the BRIDES name correctly. I'd be pissed too!
I'd be livid! Who throws a party for someone and doesn't get the guest of honor's name right? I'd be super mad too!

I just had a melt-down because my name is spelled wrong on the bridal shower invites that FI's grandma and aunt just sent out. They also only included one of our two registeries. This just sent me over the top. WHAT IS HAPPENING TO ME?????
Anyone else feeling like a lunatic over ridiculous things that would normally never set you off? Only 24 more days until I am normal again...
