It’s that time of year again… My husband and my mother are demanding a Christmas list! And honestly, I’m so happy, it’s hard to think of anything I want. But, I know they would like a list and so I’m working on putting one together. I have a few things so far. I thought it’d be fun to share what we have on our lists. Might be fun to see what everyone is into and, who knows, maybe I’ll get some more ideas for my list! 🙂
- “How To Cook Without A Book” by Pam Anderson
- New TV for basement workout area
- Gift certificate to nail salon
- Subscription to magazine that is local to my city
- Gift certificate to favorite clothing store
- My Favorite makeup

1. A new ipod
2. A bath pillow
3. New perfume
4. Gift card to Barnes and Noble
5. couple of board games
That’s all I have for now. DH and I both have birthdays right after Christmas so our lists have to be for the entire family for both events. MIL said she wants them by Nov 15th!

I’m on a huge budget for my wedding, but not wanting to skimp on quality. Therefore, I’ve asked for gift certificates for Christmas. (Manicure, Pedicure, Massage, Bridal Updo, etc.) Therefore, they are GREAT gifts that I will use, and it will help our wedding budget! Yay!

@anwenning: What a great idea!

I’m usually the type of person that is VERY hard to shop for because I never really want anything physical/material.
This year I know what I want…shhhh….and it’s a whopper!
I really, really, really want a MacBook Pro with all the bells and whistles and with a Windows Platform.
I’ve never in my life had a new computer of my own. All my desktops have been hand me downs of my siblings. This current one is groaning.
I would love a laptop so that I can sit in the living room with my husband and be able to browse, do work, whatever! While still spending time with him.
My co-worker/computer guru has a old model and his with a windows platform is powerful enough to run the programs we need for work. Our programs take up a lot of memory and a lot of the processor.
So…my plan is to just ask for Apple Store gift cards from everyone! Hopefully it’ll make a dent and maybe after recouping from Xmas we can afford the balance!
And my SIL is in school now so she can help me purchase it with a student discount…I believe it’s 20% so that’ll help!

1) A new (or used) saddle (will probably have to buy this myself, just hope my bonus is big enough)
2) New riding boots (again, may have to buy these myself)
3) Maybe a new cell phone… my iPhone is 2 years old now and starting to crap out on me. Just have to decide if I want to stay with AT&T or move back to Verizon
Can’t really think of anything else… maybe some new cable-knit sweaters for work since mine are getting pretty warn.

I want an E-Reader soooo bad! I want the Nook from Barnes & Noble ~ the one that is both 3G & Wireless…of course that one is more expensive 🙂
My birthday is a couple weeks away so I have 2 chances to get it….fingers crossed 🙂

I’m asking for gift cards to barnes and noble..I have like 80 books I want to buy.
Also, a painting of our dog (lol), perfume, and a gift certificate for a mani/pedi since I haven’t had one in a year and I’ve been really good at cutting out the extras so we can save for the wedding 🙂

Too funny, I just started a list:
1. Black zip up sweater
2. Brown and Black boots
3. Cooking cooling racks
4. And anything off our registries we didn’t receive

My parents are just going to buy each of us stuff from our registry probably, but they are having trouble finding manly gifts from the registry for FI.
I would also love a DSLR and a new wallet (more like NEED a new wallet).

Well, in reality we’re getting money from parents because we’re still struggling in the job world. But if I could get things:
- Real Simple magazine subscription
- J.Crew tan boots
- New pair of black heels
- Plane tickets home, or plane tickets anywhere really
- Toy Story Mania for Wii
- A new microbead pillow
We’re doing really small gifts for each other this year with our budgets, so I’m thinking I’ll get my magazine subscription, which is exciting!

Diamond earrings and a new spiffy camera!

This is the list I sent to my mom at her request!
- Golf shoes
- Golf glove
- Nice diamond/fake diamond studs (like the ones of Mom’s I wore for our wedding – but white not yellow)
- Lamp /lamp shades from Target registry
- Cute shirts
- Gift cards for buying books for my Sony E-reader
- Sweettarts and/or sour jelly bellys
I may also add some new perfume to this list.

@anwenning LOVE that idea! I think I am going to request one for my nails!
I do not have any one thing I really want this year. I am so happy and I don’t need anything other then help with the wedding. I think I am either going to ask for money or items for the wedding itself. Plus I have already told both of our parents that anything on our registry is fair game. We are registered at Sears for tons of tools and I am def. shopping for my FH off this registry.

I always do a birthday/christmas list because my birthday is this week (last wed!) and my mom usually starts shopping for Christmas in October anyways. So here were the few big things I had on there:
1) flipcam (parents got it for me for my bday!)
2) adobe lighroom 3 (FI got it for me for my bday!)
3) a 4×6 photo printer so i can do a faux-tobooth
So… all wedding related things haha. I’m not going to bother to give my mom too much of a list this year for Christmas because I told her to seriously cut back (because she’s helping us with the wedding), and also because a registry is kind of like a giant christmas list, no?
