Since so many of us are taking different supplements or trying various methods for ttc, thought it’d be nice to have a thread with everyone’s goodies in one spot!
My cocktail- shaken, not stirred:
- metformin (for pcos)
- vitex (used one cycle so far and added 1 day to my LP)
- EPO (starting tomorrow to obtain some EWCM which is currently nil)
- RRL (starting tomorrow if it’s not overkill!)
*Plus temping, OPKs, SMEP and preseed
What do you ladies find has worked for you?

I took prenatals, used OPKs and used preseed. But I think the most effective thing we did was BD a LOT lol. I’m talking every day until I O’d and almost every day after until I got my BFP. Oh, and I stayed lying down for a while after we did it and sometimes put a pillow under my butt! I am 5 weeks pregnant 🙂

Prenatals, folic acid (EVERY TTC WOMAN SHOULD TAKE THIS!!!), Vitamin B6, OPKs.

I didnt have difficulty concieving, but nonetheless I used the following:
Lots of healthy eating
…..and I followed a mild swaying diet.

Prenatals, vitamin C, Evening Primrose, iron (my gummies have no iron), I will probably pick up some preseed for when Darling Husband comes back from his work trip, and I’m thinking of using Yogi Women’s tea. I’m also taking garlic supplement to help with my circulation, because I’m worried about MC because of my poor circulatory system. And I’m not even starting TTC till the end of the month. I’m working really hard to get pregnant soon.

Ummm…..I didnt change very much. I took folic acid. That is all. Luckily we concieved 2nd cycle, with just 1 BD in the fertile window at O-1.

Folic acid, fish oil and ubiquinol for egg health, and metformin for PCOS.

Oy. I’m trying to restart my cycle after coming off of BCP:
- Pregnitude (recommended by my OB)
- Prenatal vitamins w/out iron
- Red raspberry leaves (capsules, not the tea)

This is good info! My Fiance were talking last weekend about when we think should start TTC, and how when that time comes I shouldn’t be drinking at all (which I agreed with). Both his sister and SIL drank during their TTC time, and both have kids with mental disabilities (not that it was related, but interesting either way). And not that we may not either, but we’re older and you just never know.
I’d rather know that nothing was in the way of conception! I’ve been on BC since I was 21 (will be around 34 when we start TTC)… so I’m hoping that won’t be a problem.

Kabatchy2be: Pre-natals or folic acid, Pre-seed, Mucinex once or twice right before O, used an OPK the month we conceived (even though I never got a positive) and the most important, I think: LOTS OF SEX. We started TTC in July and I got my BFP in November.
ETA: I was wary of “self-diagnosing” and taking any supplements, but might’ve tried some if it had taken us longer….

We’re starting TTC next month, and here’s what I’m planning so far (or am already doing):
- red raspberry leaf tea (at least one cup/day)
- Preseed (right now just occasionally using it like a regular lube – may start using the applicators during my next fertile window)
- charting, and will be aiming for BD at least EOD during the fertile window, but hopefully ED
Trying to remind myself that all of this does not guarantee instant success, just trying to give us the best shot possible.
