Besides your wedding dress, what is something you purchased lately that you really shouldn't have. Whether it be because of money, or because your FI hates it, or because ...whatever! How did you justify it to yourself? :)

We bought an art piece this weekend, but I can always justify more art heh, especially at a great price! And I bought a vintage 1950's gold Omega Seamaster chrono watch with a leather band last week- I'm not typically a watch person, haven't worn one since middle school, but this one stayed on my mind for two weeks before I decided I really wanted it. I love it, I know that's a piece I'll have for a long time- wasn't a *need*, but I don't regret it :) I probably didn't need the Ray-Ban Clubmasters I found at Marshall's, but I'd been wanting a pair for months but didn't want to drop the $140+ on a pair, so $60 was a steal for them! :D I'm naughty heh

@JoesWifey....south pacific is only a 3 or 4hr flight for me... fiji, tonga, niue, solomons, png - i can be there before lunch if i catch a morning flight.

where i really really want to go to is Mexico.... *sigh* one day

Eloping I will trade you mexico for a south pacific vacation... I'm samoan and I've never been :(

As to what I shouldn't buy... well, it's not me, but FI is about to get me either a Wii Fit or CS4 for christmas and I don't really deserve either... :)

Hehe.  I bought CS4--one for me (Mac) AND one for FI (PC).  Yes, the wedding is the justification for it.  I came really close to buying a Dior bag the other day, but just couldn't bring myself to do it.  I bought a crystal Christmas ornament yesterday because I needed to use my Neiman Marcus gift card!

I splurged at Sephora a few weeks ago. Sadly, I can justify any spending (legit I think to myself "Welp...I didn't get a speeding ticket this month so this is okay...") Ridiculous!

I personally didn't buy it, but didn't object to my hubby buying a pointless shower radio at Brookstone this weekend.  We will never. use. it.

Over $100 worth of makeup at the Chanel counter this weekend - I *really* only needed concealer.  :-)

@erindesmar: ahhh! I forgot about the shower radio! We used to have one and I turned it on every single time I took a shower, but it bit the dust long ago. I think I am going to have to get another now after being reminded of it.

Hmm...I bought a bag of Oreos yesterday while grocery shopping (on the way hone before dinner, groan).

i justified it because I think my growling stomach was about to deafen everyone in the store, and I haven't had Oreos in months.

I bought myself a new winter coat recently.  I told myself it was a birthday gift (from me, to me) and I really, really love it.  But....I probably could have lasted the winter without it.  (Although, I seem to remember last winter vowing that I would buy a warmer coat.  So, maybe it's justified?!)  :)

i bought a big coach duffle - funny you should post this, since I regret every purchase i make, despite if i have the money or not. I just hate spending cash!  but i really wanted it.  we'll see if i can make it a week without returning. I always have something in the house or car on the way back to the store.  This is the first name brand bag i've ever purchased, and of course it's the largest one they make.  I asked my fiance, and he thought it was a good deal, but later at home teased me about the purchase.  He knows how to push my buttons!

Now all I can think about for some reason is a bag of Jolly Ranchers...wish I had splurged on that instead! wait...no I don't!

I will have to try and be good for the family's annual trip to the outlets in North Conway, NH this weekend!

Im about to spend way to much on a new computer.  Let's put it this way... FI and I could fly business class and honeymoon in Europe for the price :-)  But the thing is... I need it, I knew it would eventually happen, and it's a tax write off....

I just got the puppies a new toy...they are spoiled and have an entire basket of toys but this one is supposed to be super tough for their razor teeth! Well they have had it for a total of 5 hours and the cow (which is almost as big as my runt) is already missing an ear...ANIMALS

Since I'm no longer in a college town, it means the cheap Halloween stuff doesn't sell as quickly.  I bought a Lego toy that rang up as "impulse buy" on half price, some nuts, a stuffed dog toy modeled after Bo (the Obamas' dog) named "Change", and some more coffee.

I am no longer allowed to buy coffee or veggies until I am out, that is that.

Where to start!! I have a serious shopping problem, in the last week i brought two pairs of roxy boarshorts, rip curl bathers, a leather jacket ($299) two pairs of heels of ebay, a tigerlily dress and a wayne cooper dress for the races.

Dont know how my Fi handles me but i figure i am doing my bit for the economic down turn lol Also about to go get some lady waxing done.

I finished uni a year ago and now i earn quite a lot i cant stop buying things to make up for the time when i couldnt even afford two minute noodles lol

I think Sephora is a universal source of account-draining fun :P I usually don't shop on their website and leave spending any less than $150. But it's all makeup and my face sunscreen, my face products outside of that are natural (thank goodness, or I'd be dropping way more than that- my Mom's Lancome something or other cream is like $120 a container!!! o_o)

The first ever pair of fall boots I've ever owned. I like them a lot, but I don't love them. However I like them more than any other boot (under $100) that I found online or in any of the stores I went to. I have an awesome cute corduroy skirt and wanted to be able to wear it into the winter.

Oh, I like this thread! I'm always buying things I shouldn't : ) My most recent purchase was a hazel & harlow necklace - a couple weeks ago it was listed at $175 and with the wedding so close I couldn't justify it (it's not for the wedding). A week later it was $95 and when I realized I could also get 30% off, I bought it. My justification was that at least I didn't spend $175 on it!

These pair of black boots I'd been drooling over for weeks. I finally bought them last weekend when they went on sale. Saved me $5! They are suede and scrunchy. My hubby hates the whole boot trend and basically told me that I'm 26 and should start dressing like one. Ouch! I think he's just jealous though cuz I got me some hot new boots!!
