    This question occurred to me as I sit here watching Armageddon for the 4,000th time with DH. I saw it as a hormonal teen when it first came out, so maybe I still have a lingering pitter-patter for Ben Affleck? It's got the cliche bad dialogue, montages, presidential speech while kids in overalls run through fields...

    So what is your favorite BAD movie?

    Umm Coyote Ugly was on last weekend and I had it on in the background while I cooked.  I was listening thinking "god this really is terrible" and looked to see it had 1.5 stars.  I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVED that movie when I was in high school.  I just thought it was so awesome and sexy and witty and I so wanted to be one of them.  No?  Mmm I cringed at how much I liked it back in the day.

    Added: I put Clueless on a few weeks ago and had to turn it off.  It just did not hold the same appeal as when I was in middle/high school.  Watching it as a 25 y/o...it's totally unrealistic to think they are in high school.  I think it's a good movie, but I think I've passed the point of being able to get all the way through it!

    @KatyElle:  I never saw Armageddon all the way through, but I was obsessed with "Don't Wanna Miss a Thing", so much so that I would put the CD in my walkman CD player and sit in my room with the window open, staring at the house of the boy I had a crush on for all of middle school.  I just played it on repeat and pined for him as if he was the only person I'd ever love.  I was like, 12.  Yeah.

    @daybyday:  Ha! That movie is such a DOWNER! I saw it in college when it was in theaters on a first date, let's just say the bathtub scene kind of killed the mood.

    "Earth Girls Are Easy" So old but oh so good lol and "Big Trouble in Little China" it's my dad's favorite movie and I also love it but the only way I can get others to watch it is to make a drinking game out of it, andd "Dogeball" is on tv now :) and most of Will farrell's movies are pretty bad but i love them all

    Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil and Stripes  are just two of the movies that I cannot turn off.  A friend recently went to Savannah and I had her bring me back a mini statue of the little girl from Midnight.  It is on my mantel now.  With Stripes I just love that line " Why did the Chichen cross the road? To get from the left to the right uuhh.", the movie is full of quotable line and I can almost talk with the movie all the way though it.

    I really love Get Him to the Greek. I have seen it more times than I'd like to admit. I guess I just kind of have a thing for Russell Brand. Terrible I know.

    I have a serious thing for awesomely bad movies. My favorite is probably "Too Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything Julie Newmar" with "Showgirls" in a close second.

    @VickyAurea:  Oh man... I've seen The Room. Seriously, probably the most terrible movie ever made. I just couldn't. stop. watching. lol

    @CarolinaCola:  I LOVE Spice World!

    @BayStateBride:  Ahh, I forgot all about Pauly Shore!  I see your "In the Army Now" and raise you a "Son-In-Law" haha.

    I really liked Centerstage (the ultimate cheese in ballet movies, I know).  I also liked Idiocracy - in a way.  It was a Mike Judge "cult film" that most people have never seen or heard of and it was awful but the premise was amazing (and frighteningly predictive).

    I love The Mummy, I went to see the sequel twice in theaters too, I was nuts. But, I seriously love those two movies. And I do not speak of the ones with The Rock. Wink

    I have quite a few.  They usually involve Keanu Reeves or Brendan Fraser.  Love dumb comic book movies, too.

    It's a tie between Point Break and Coppola's version of Dracula.  You'd think Coppola would be able to make a good version of Dracula.  Nope.  Somehow he botched it.

    Got another one.  Queen of the Damned.  It's been on tv quite a bit lately, and I always manage to get sucked into it.
