Wondering if anyone has a recommendation for an awesome jewelry cleaner?
I’m not looking for suggestions like Dawn and Windex and toothbrushes. I’ve used those, and while those work well, I’m curious if there are products that work better.
I’d be nervous to use a jewelry cleaning maching as my ring has MANY tiny stones on it, and I’ve heard that they can make stones loose.
I’m thinking of trying out this one. Anyone ever tried it? Caribbean-Banana-Coconut-Jewelry-Cleaner

I’ve tried that, and for all the glowing reviews on Amazon, wasn’t that impressed. Wasn’t any better than the Connoisseurs stuff that comes in the red jar. Something I do like though is the Connoisseurs Diamond Dazzle stick. That really makes my diamond shine!

I came on to say that diamond dazzle stick. It’s awesome. put it in the shower, you lather and rinse, give a little lather and rinse to the rock before you get out: boom always sparkly.

mg1363: I used Blitz Jewelry Cleaning and it was AMAZING. My diamond was seriously so dirty it didn’t even look like the same stone after I cleaned it in that. It’s just a jar of solution that you mix with water and agitate for a few minutes – really simple and great results. You would definitely want to make sure that your stone could be used in that cleaner though – I know the specific Blitz I had said only for nonpourous stones, etc.

I have an ultrasonic cleaner from Target.com it was only $40 (la sonic supreme cleaner).. my rings have 100+ tiny diamonds and I haven’t had any issues..my rings look brand new after I use it..I put it on the lowest setting..highly recommend!

I just purchased the Diamond Dazzle Stick from Target a few days ago and let me tell you, it’s amazing! I’ve been using Dawn dish soap since getting engaged but the dazzle stick (for me) is just a tad bit better.

Baal: Bummer, I was hoping that it would be some amazing jewelry cleaner. I might have to look into the diamond dazzle stick. I’m obsessed with my jewelry being sparkly!
MrsBuesleBee: Love that idea. For now I’ve been cleaning my ring then leaving it in a box while I shower because I don’t want it all gunked up with conditioner and soap. Washing it at the end of the shower makes sense though.
Monk6552: Mine is a diamond so I’d imagine it would work. I’ll have to look into that.
mrssloan2013: I’m just too paranoid to try it…if I lose a stone I have to return to the jewelry store I bought my ring from for repair otherwise my warranty is void. The store is about 5 hours away so definitely not something I want to chance (though honestly I’m sure it would be just fine).
PetuniaPie: Looks like I’m going to have to get this dazzle stick…seems very popular!

I love my connoisseurs jewelry cleaner with the brush. It gets in every nook and cranny and works great!

The dazzle stick is just glycerine and alcohol in a “toothbrush.” So if you’re not looking for those remedies… the dazzle stick will not astound you.
