It must be white gold but I can’t decide if a trellis solitaire or classic setting with thin shanks is a better choice? HEEEELP! It is currently in a simple setting but the prongs just look WAY too large and detract from my sparkler (see picture).

@ECH258: if they’re big prongs.. but I think 6 prongs gives it a nice shape – makes it look rounder.

You really can’t go wrong with a classic setting! 🙂 4 or 6 prong – they both would look amazing. I’m biased to 4-prong 😉

Classic six prong like Tiffany’s will be best. In the picture the stone looks like a princess cut because of the prongs.
