@gromble:

.8ct center stone on a 7.5 size ring (sorry my fingers are huge!).  my band is 2mm and my halo is .15ct tw.  not sure about the halo width, but it looks just a hair thinner than my band.

@gromble:  Here’s my halo! My ring size is 4.75, and we’re not sure of the exact carat size of the center stone, as it’s an heirloom, but approximately 0.75. The total carat weight on my halo is 0.5, but the stones are very tiny, as there’s actually a double row on the band/shank/whateveryoucallit. The halo is just over 1mm on each side of the diamond, including a bit of airline, which is my preference.

@gromble:  now that you mention it, it is a bit scalloped!  halo is pave setting, and it is white gold. hopefully this pictures shows it a little better (sorry, I’m rubbish at taking pictures of it with my phone):

I absolutely love the simple band – it is very comfortable to wear and makes the center halo stand out that much more!

Here is my halo.  It’s a custom Christopher Designs in 18K white gold.  The setting has 96 melee stones in very slightly different sizes weighing 0.69 ct total.  The center stone is a 2.43 GIA XXX, J/SI1 (eye clean) at 8.7 mm diameter.  My ring size is 5-5.25.

My ring is 1.08 ctw with the center stone being 0.55. My ring size is 5. The width across the halo is 9 mm I believe.

I don’t know the mm of my halo but it has 2 rows of very small micropave (almost specs) of diamonds. The center is a 1.5 carat. Size 6.5 finger

Such pretty halos, ladies!  Love it!

My halo is approx. .5ct for the whole setting, split shank and all, with something like 60 (I think?) pave stones in total.  It’s about 1.8mm wide.  My center stone is 1ct, size 4.5 finger.

@gromble:  I too, am not positive of the mm but my center stone is 1 carat with a half carat halo. I love my rimg, I sometimes wish the diamonds in the halo were smaller for scale. Overall, he did a great job.:)

@baileyjosephine:  Lovely ring! I couldn’t agree more! I always thought I wanted diqmonds on the band, but I love the look of a plain shank halo with a more ornate band. We are like ring cousins!;)

@baileyjosephine:  Thank you! I love yours, too! My wedding band is a 3/4 eternity band (I think) and it is all in white gold.
