I have been curious as to whether or not there is an average demographic of women on here. I know we are all unique individuals, but I am just wondering whether or not a specific type of woman is attracted to weddingbee.

Please, only answer poll. No need to post in thread. Thanks! I want the most bees on here to answer as possible!

You should add Juris Doctor to your poll for the lawyers.

It's kinda hard to vote in your poll since people can fall into multiple categories.  Ie, if you have your Master's or PhD, you're likely falling into the "multiple degrees" option as well.  This will probably skew your results...

Yea I think you're going to see selection bias here just like other polls... people with less education might be less inclined to click on a thread that has to do with education :) But nevertheless I second the request for a JD or MD poll answers.

even though I am neither, I also think there needs to be  JD and MD options.

    Interesting poll!

Agreed...we need to post to keep it moving up.

    I have a Masters of Education...finished when I was 26.

I think it would be interesting if we post degree type and ages since we need to post something.

I am excited about these average bee/demographic polls.  :-D

Man, I am such a dork.  My BA was in econ and almost everyone I was friends with in undergrad is at least getting a masters - I feel so undereducated compared to them.

I'm really the only still enrolled full-time?!  I can't believe that.  I'm still finishing my Bachelor's at this point, and hope to go on to work on an MA then PhD.

    @veganglam: I'm still full time!

I major in English with and 8-12 certification and minor in History. Considering double majoring instead of the minor, but I'd like to graduate in 4 years instead of 5 and student teaching eats a whole semester.

I put some college only because I'm still in school.  I am going for my associate's degree then my bachelor's and eventually my masters.  I think it would of been nice to have a spot that said currently in collge.

You are separating out all the Doctorate degrees but not the others.  Maybe combine JD, MD, and PhD into just anyone with a Doctorate?

I have a Doctorate but I do not fit any of your catagories.  (I am a DVM and I know I am not the only one on the Bee)  :-)

@ddubzz: She could just add up percentage of people with degrees. It's not like you can have an MD or PhD w/o a bachelors.

As a pharmacist, I have a professional doctorate degree, so I went with PhD.  Technically, though, I'm a PharmD.

    Great poll!  Very interesting.

I have my associate's in architectural drafting.  I hope to return one day to get a Bachelor's in Architecture, but with 2 kids and a husband, I don't see that happening any time soon.  And the only reason I didn't continue my education after getting my degree is because there are no schools in the area that offer what I want and my daughter was 3 at the time so I couldn't just up and relocate.

Dual BA's and a MS  -- all that so I can make less than 30,000 a year, so not a great investment!
