I had a fingertip, but I think you should wear whatever length you want!

@Pixienickie:  I loved my veil…but originally I wanted a cathedral length and my mom convinced me to get a chapel. She said the other would have been too long.

I wished I hadn’t listened and just gone with what i wanted. Its your day. Plus veils are timeless, no matter their length. Its the only day in your life you get to wear a veil – so if you want a long one, go for it!

Ps. this one is similar to the one i got from brookesbridal. She did an amazing job for an awesome price!

I had Cathedral length. Didn’t think I wanted a veil at all at first. I kept an open mind so tried one on and loved how I felt in it.

I was between fingertip and birdcage. In the end, the birdcage won simply because it was gifted to me. However, I definitely think it fit my personality and overall look the best. I honestly couldn’t be happier with it. I say go for whatever makes you feel the best!

I had a cathedral length veil, but lots of lengths are popular. Loads of people wear chapel length here.

Mine was 2 layers of scattered crystal tulle, raw square edge: bottom/main layer was between waltz and ankle length (this worked well w the beading on my gown)… I had what may be a bit of a non-traditional fingertip length blusher. (and I made it all myself… 3 yards of tulle, a comb, needle, thread, and a bit of bling… voila!!) Here’s a guest photo of me and my daddy walking down the aisle 🙂

My dream has always been to wear a cathedral style. I loved them. But my fiance and I are having a garden wedding so I was like nah, it’ll be too long. Today I found my dress and the sales associate brought out a cathedral style that has rhinestones all over (and the dress had sparkly sequins so the entire dress was sparkling in the light) and it was perfect 🙂 so I’m wearing a cathedral style, despite being outside!

@Pixienickie:  we are getting married on the beach but we want it to be a little more formal. I’ll be wearing a lace mermaid dress with a semi-cathedral train and my veil will go way past the end of the train on my dress. It’s 120 inches long, but I love it!!!
