Title says it all! I thought it would be fun to read and share the little things we do for our sweethearts! For example, my FI takes cool/cold showers for his health, so afterwards I make sure to always bring him a warm towel from the dryer to make him smile. I also love sending little notes in his lunch when he brown bags at work! What do you ladies do? 🙂

ClassicCorvette: I do his laundry once a week. This doesn’t seem like that big a deal, but he’d go months without doing any laundry before we started dating. Then I started taking it home with me once every month or two when I’d visit and now that we’re married and I’m living with him, it gets done every week so he never has to re-wear clothes.
Also, I do him little favors like bring him a beer after a long night at work. He appreciates it.

- Wedding: November 2009 - New York, NY
I make a special and elaborate breakfast on Sundays (he makes breakfast Mon-Sat) and I always wait for him so we can have dinner together.

ClassicCorvette: I take care of our kids. And I don’t murder him when he wakes me up in the middle of the night for you-know-what.

Mr Trilly loves curry but a few years ago he developed an intolerance to coriander. Eating both the herb and the spice of the coriander plant gives him violent and painful gastrointestional issues that leave him sick for days. So occasionally, I make him curries without coriander. It’s a time consuming process that requires toasting and grinding various spices by hand, but he loves it all the same.
When we were long distance I would occasionally send him a care package with Raisinets and a Hubig’s Pie with a handwritten note.

I get up at 3:30 am every morning to cook him breakfast and iron a shirt and trousers for work for him. I love starting my day with him and ending my day with him.

I do a juice (veggies and fruit) for him every morning. He doesn’t usually get enough of those food groups unless I intervene! I also give him a back rub when he’s stressed or tired.

I make his lunch and leave a little note for him everyday throughout the work week. At first I thought it was just a small gesture and didn’t know if he really noticed/cared but the one day I forgot he mentioned how he missed reading it. Haven’t forgot to leave him a note since.
My FI is a mechanic and loves to have small projects on the go when he’s not working/busy. From time to time, I’ll go out to the shop and spend the afternoon with him and help turn wrenches. He loves that I’m a true girly girl at heart but not afraid to get dirty.
Other than that, we have ‘cuddle/rub time’ every night before we fall asleep (our close friends always laugh at us over this lol). We cuddle and rub or scratch each others backs to relax. Gives us that extra bit of bonding time AND helps us fall asleep.
I also do FI laundry, for the most part. I love reading what everyone else does since I love giving FI new, little surprises!

Trilly: That’s so sweet of you!
All of you ladies are making me smile with your nice little things! Does anyone have any others they want to share?

He always goes to bed before I do, so I always set out his coffee cup by the Keurig, put his energy drink by his keys (he has a Monster with lunch), and make sure his e-cig makes it onto the charger every night. (*Please spare me the lectures on e-cigs and energy drinks….he appreciates the gestures*)
I also make sure his dress blues get to the cleaner each week, as he ALWAYS forgets and makes a mad scramble.
On holidays I try to get him unique gifts that he might have never guessed. Last Christmas I ordered a case of his favorite mac & cheese (a flavor we cannot find in stores here) off Amazon….his face was priceless when he opened the gift. I thought he was going to cry.
