@PonytailKim:  TP for us too (and paper towels.) DH is a snob about his paper goods!

Just one? But I’m spoiled! Toliet paper, shampoo, some groceries, coffee, body wash, etc.

I spend more on TP too….I wouldn’t be opposed to using a store brand if one was fantastic, but I’ve yet to find one that is!  I won’t get store brand cat food at all.  I also am OK with walmart trash bags, but that’s one of the few store brands I’ll go for on those…many others are so much cheaper.

@PonytailKim:  Definitely toilet paper, agree with you there! I’m also willing to spend a little more on my shampoo/conditioner.

Also, FWIW, I recently read a Consumer Reports article on TP and some of the highest rated brands were from Walmart!! I was shocked. Unfortunately, we don’t have any Walmarts out where we live so we go with the Kirkland Signature, which was ranked in fourth place. Yes, we are nerds and look up ratings on everything. 🙂

@calisunshine3404:  Hmmm maybe I should give it a try then.  I’ll just buy one roll to be safe! Laughing

Laundry detergent for sure. Nothing works as good as Tide.

@PonytailKim:

Laundry detergent. Off-brand is a false economy because I wind up using 2-3 times as much.

@orchidblooms:  definitely! Disclaimer though… CRs ranks things also using overall value as a factor, so they might not be the softest, per se. I wish I could remember my CR log in bc the criterion used for this “study” were actually kind of hilarious…strength, comfort, tearability. All important in the overall product I suppose, hahaha.
