Wedding Bee is full of neat usernames! The Bee Bloggers always give a little rationale for why they picked their Bee Name in their first post as a Bee. But what made the rest of us pick our usernames?
I'll start - Valhalla is a Viking term for heaven or the afterlife. There is a hiking store in the city where I live called Valhalla Pure. So I chose Valhalla because when I am spending time in the mountains hiking, its like my own personal form of heaven.
What's the story behind your username, if there is one? If it is too personal or would reveal too much information, you don't have to share.
Well, my name is Judy..and as a little girl... my family would always call me Luli...hehe. That's it. I just added a 29 because that's my number!
However, I was not aware of the whole Miss/Mrs. XXX when I first joined WB. If I did know about it, I would have used Miss something as a screen name. Oh wellz!
He calls me honeybunny, but that was already taken. So I went with honeybun!
I, like luli, was totally unaware of the Miss/Ms. stuff. I hadn't been a lurker when I found Weddingbee - I just jumped right in with a poll, not knowing if I'd ever even come to this site again! LOL. Wish I had known though - I would def. like to at least be Ms. Honeybun!!!

Sage is my dog's name (my icon is also her picture - lol) and she's the love of my life. I'm such a sucker for dogs. :)
AOE is the intials of my sorority. And Buckeye, cause I'm a buckeye chick who loves OSU football and did my undergrad degree at Ohio State.
its my name. My parents gave me a very strange spelling, so I can often get usernames with it.
Kittyachi is a nickname FI has for me. It comes from a SNL episode Tracy Morgan hosted where he did a Brian Fellow skit and there was a competitive mice-eating champion cat dressed in a kimono named "Kittyachi" and I would do the impression of it for my FI and crack him up so he started calling me Kittyachi.
Well mine is kinda self explanatory...We are having a beach wedding and will be using sand dollars and sea urchins as part of our decor
But on a more personal side one of my degrees is in Marine Sciences and my favorite professors research focused on both mollusks and echinoderms...He passed away my junior year
Well my name is Keila and when I started dating my BF I noticed he had me down as Special K on his phone which I though was sweet and I've been Special K ever since :-)
otb- is an old paint ball term. Stands for off the break or something like that, but it's what my FH calls himself, and is his username for lots of things, like otbhisname, etc. Anyway, I totally meant to put Mrs. OTB when I was signing up, but I was super excited to post something on a thread, and I forgot, haha....
Mine is actually ridiculous... jizes is jessica in that funny way Snoop Dogg talks.. we use to joke around when i was in highschool and it became my AOL sn just about everything actually and 318 was a date of my first boyfriend... now that i think about it i need to change that but ive used it so much over the last 12 yrs i forget that part...
Every since i was little my parents have always called me Missy Doodle. It was my screen name when i used to use AIM. And she still calls me it once in a while.

Lily is my horse's name, and her "registered" name (okay, she's actually a Mustang, but I still gave her a show name) is A Little Faith. I think I was going to do alittlefaith, but it was already taken. So, Lily Faith!
Um...I totally didn't understand the concept at first that the bloggers were different than us peeps so I picked bamboo because its going to figure prominantly in our decor and invites and we love lucky bamboo. haha. Although its funny now because my guy likes to call me all these random names that include boo in it. Think Seinfeld "Shmoopy" style.
Mine isn't so unique. Just my maiden initials. Not sure I like still being a "Miss" bee when I'm not but would have felt weird to have a "Mrs" before I was married!
It's a portmanteau of two other names I use. I figure it's easy for me to remember, but hopefully not obvious to anyone who may come across it. I'm weird like that.
When I signed up last year, I was doing research to be a good bridesmaid as I was in 3 weddings (one as a MOH). My friends and I joked that I was a professional bridesmaid, so I'm ProBM (Professional Bridesmaid) 2008 (for that wedding season). :)

Mine's easy--- my FI is the Captain of his fire department, and well, I'm his girl! I suppose I could relate this to the OTHER love of my life, my dog... his name is Captain, and he owns my heart too!
Mine is actually pretty funny. I come from a VERY Italian family *We are Infantinos and Pagliucas* and he comes from a VERY Irish family *O'Donnell anyone?* So we always kind of tease and harp on eachother about our heritages as we are both strongly tied to them.
He hangs up a picture of the castle that is dated back to his tribe or whatever and I put up an arial map of my families little Italian villages and the farm they once owned... we painted our stepping stone front rock half the irish flag half the italian.
I always tease him and call him little names *some would find them offensive "Potato eater" and "Hillbilly - the original origin of the name is Irish* and he calls me *Wop - Without papers* and *Guinea*...

My birthday is in December, we got engaged in December (not on my birthday) and we are getting married in December :) too easy I'm a December girl
FI and I are obsessed with How I Met Your Mother....we're really similar to Lily and Marshall. In their wedding episode they have a conversation during their first dance about Lily not taking Marshall's last name and how they should make up a new last name just for them. One suggestion is Mr. and Mrs. Awesome (and that their kid's names are Totally and Friggen!)
FI and I are considering changing both his and my last name to something different once we're married. Therefore, Mrs.Awesome. Even though I'm not a Mrs. yet, I suppose that'll make it better once I am and I don't have a sn that says 'miss'. =D

I have this thing with a handful of my friends - I told them they would marry their now husbands before or shortly after their first date. So far, I'm 6 for 6 (started over 10 years ago) in predicted marriages - didn't keep count of the ones I knew wouldn't end up in marriage. So, that's how 'the oracle' nickname was coined for me.
The classic thing is the ONLY person it doesn't work for - MYSELF! Ha!
Similar to others, I used my email that I picked when I was younger, and also because I am back living on the East Coast just as I started wedding planning.
mine is from my last name- gamble. i always think that people think i'm a big gambler because of it, but i'm not, at all (lol)!
Ha. Zippy was my childhood nickname. I knew it would be easy to remember. the "lef" part was a typo..... whoops. My brain moves faster than my fingers sometimes.

KJ are my first and middle initials, and a common nickname (my first/middle rhyme with Jelly Bean... oh joy.) Then Pugs for obvious reasons.
I didn't get WB and when I started my blog, I got the lovely idea that you had to do the Miss ____ thing to even get ACCEPTED to blog. So I blog as Miss Pug. Which will make for an awkward post if/when someone gets their app accepted and picks PUG!

Well, unfortunately my username has NO significance whatsoever! I typed in a couple of names but they were all taken so I just typed in hellohellohello cause I was frustrated and felt like "Hello? Any free names out there? Helloooo?" and it was free so I took it.
Unfortunately it's kind of long. Is it possible to change your username?
My middle name is Rose, my dad has always called me Rosie. Girl, cuz I'm a girl!
I desperately wanted to be Miss Cupcake -- not realizing there was already a Bee by that name :) But I love Sprinkles Cupcakes -- I'm so lucky to have one in Dallas -- and sorta ran with it. In retrospect, I should have been Kate Monster (if ... possible?) since that's what the boy calls me, after the Avenue Q character. Also, my name is Kate, haha.
