Probably whatever mine is…. 1.5, maybe? It’s an heirloom, so I’m not really sure.

I have a right hand ring with a 1mm band, and it looks slightly warped at the bottom.  I wouldn’t want something that thin for everyday wear.

My actual wedding band is 3.5mm, but I wanted something that would look substantial on its own since I won’t always wear my ering with it.

@kansas_nurse:  You can get a thinner band but gt it soldered to your engagement ring to provide extra strength.  Also getting a 10K ring would be stronger and less likely to warp than a 14K ring.

Mine is 1.7mm.  I would go down to 1mm for a band.  I love delicate rings.

Anything smaller than 2mm makes me nervous, I bang my rings on stuff all. the. time.

My promise ring is 1mm and it is maliable with not much pressure. I do really love thin bands, but I would say 2mm is good. I have yet to try on anything around 1.5, so I’d probably be fine with that too.

Mine is a 2mm pave band, it’s super thin looking to me but since my engagement ring also has a thin (plain platinum) band, it looks really good together.

@kansas_nurse:  I have a RHR that has a 1.5mm band of silver that I have worn everyday for 4 years and it is still fine and my FI bought it for me when were were still just dating and he told me it was like $80. I feel like a wedding band made of a sturdier substance should be FINE.
