I registered for a grout scrubber... Just for fun, what's the funniest/strangest thing you registered for or have seen on a registry?

We registered for condoms at the asking of FMIL as a joke.  It's definitely become an inside joke between the families and actually didn't offend anyone.

I saw a registry that had cleaning products....as in windex and the such.  Um, who would buy that as a wedding present?

My FI scanned an electric shaver into our registry.  :)  I wonder if I'll unwrap that at my bridal shower!

@Meowkers- My grout brush is a step away! I love cleaning. We also registered for a garbage can, and a sponge holder for the kitchen sink. We already bought a house together and we are not "china" people...

My strangest thing I've seen on someone else's was 2 sonicare toothbrushes. I guess it's not really weird, just personal. Plus they are both already married and in their late 40's...

@ miss elephant, I love the board game thing.  That would a great registry item, people are staying at home more often and doing those types of things, including us.  We love to have friends over for a good night of games.  I will have to include those on ours.

FI and I registered for a ton of games - but I don't think that's weird!  We love buying people games off their registries because we know it is something that they will enjoy using.

We registered for a tent and two sleeping bags which may be kind of weird.  But I like camping out and we aren't china/crystal people so we had lots of room on the registries to add some fun, non-traditional things.

My FI registered for a safety escape ladder. But the thing is that we live in a ranch! I didn't know he put in on there and I got some calls from a couple of my family members jokily asking about the ladder.

We have toilet bowl cleaner on ours, like the clorox wand refill ones. FI wanted to do some really random things so that is what we settled on!

When we were registering (with his parents tagging along) FH made me scan twizzlers...  as they're my favorite!  I took it off the registry a few days later....  but his sister sent us a gift box of registry items last week, with 2 packs of twizzlers in it!  Heehee.

The one, sort of bizarre, thing we still have on our registry is a camping tent.  We need a new one, and everyone knows I'm an outdoorsy-type (he is by default!).

I confess - I was totally lurking the registry of someone I went to college with.

No lie... his & hers KY lube. Kinda gross.

We registered for an ash can. Which I guess is a little odd - but I'm tired of shoveling our fireplace ash into a paper sack and not realizing there's still embers in there!

That would be on mine - we had a pair of handcuffs on there for awhile as a joke between us and forgot about it until his mom looked off of our registry for christmas gifts and mentioned it.  I was super embarrassed and took them off right away.  We didn't think to look the list over before putting the registry site on our webpage!

My sister registered for thank you notes... yes... THANK YOU notes on her registry!!  I saw them on there and I was like, "umm... what the heck is the point of that?"

Haha... oh well, we all got a good laugh out of that. :)

    a dryer bra bag

    folding plastic picnic table

    TWO hand steamers

    24 charger plates - 12 red, 12 gold

2 full different sets of china! + everyday set + semi fancy/everyday china

This is all the same couple - this is the most ridiculousness of their registries.  They ended up with a small wedding getting almost nothing off their registries.

I think things like tents and sleeping bags - any kind of camping equipment, are getting much more "normal."  We registered for them!  I hope we get them, too, because we went camping this weekend in FH's old tent for college and it is SMALL.

The weirdest thing I have ever seen is sponges.  Like, really, you couldn't get some at Target next trip?
