I received ribbon as part of the wrapping on a gift and I’d like to find some for our favors. It’s regular fabric ribbon, but what I like about it is that it has thin white stitching on either side. Does this type of ribbon have a certain name?

Go check out paper mart, or the ribbon retreat wholesale. I was up for hours gawking at both of them… I think I was dreamin about flippin’ ribbon after! Best selection I could find was the retreat place, *think* paper mart may be a bit cheaper, but didn’t do any kind of proper comparison yet. IDK a name for what you have, sounds like a grosgrain of some sort? Not satin, anyway, no?

What you are referring to is called stitched grossgrain ribbon. Google it! I purchased ribbon for my invites from M&J Trimming.

Michaels and Hobby Lobby might have them too!

Sounds like saddle stitch ribbon. My favorite paper and stamp company make it in a few great shades of green.
This color doesn’t have the picture of the saddle stitch, but imagine it just like the ripe avacado only the other shade of green.
Hope this helps!
