Don’t plan on hearing from your vendors until your wedding nears closer. No worries…they are booked, you sent your deposit, contracts are signed. You are good to go, unless you have questions.  They’ll contact you before the wedding for a followup 🙂

Also, this is a busy time of year for vendors to be meeting with potential clients for booking other dates, so if you don’t hear back from them right away, that could be another reason why.

Yes, they are jerks.  Some of them seem to enjoy their vocation (photography, baking, etc) but HATE dealing with people.  I kept getting condescending remarks from my vendors and I wanted to say, Hey, I don’t do this all the time, this is my first time and I’m not going to know everything.

@BoxerLady:  Hey punkin, I get that it feels like they took your money and ran…but they’re probably giving all of their time and attention to the late March and early April brides who are probably running them like dogs….I know you have questions and need answers, but just imagine how you would feel if it was November 15th and these guys couldn’t get back to you because a February of 2014 bride needed to know about the handicapped facilities….it would make you insane, right?

It’s a business, and sometimes in business you have to put out the fire that’s burning first…take it as an indicator that they’ll be more responsive as your time at bat gets closer!
