My wedding day is fast approaching and I do not have my ceremony music nailed down. Could you post your songs for each part of the ceremony? Or suggestions that would fit in with our wedding? This would help get me thinking! The only thing I think I'm set on for now is Pachelbel Cannon in D for my walk down the aisle.

We are having an outdoor wedding on the lawn of a botanical center. I need to nail down plans, but I think I'll have a piano for the majority of the music and my good friend will do a flute solo. I'm thinking I don't want real modern songs, but I also am not having a church wedding so no hymns.

I could really use the help! Thanks!

We are only using three songs for the ceremony -

Peter Gabriel's In Your Eyes as a heads up for folks to get in place

Apocalyptica's redition of Nothing Else Matters for the processional

Then the Metallica version of Nothing Else Matters for the recessional

Obviously we are using recorded music!

I'm so releived! We just met with my uncle and planned out all the ceremony music!

Our picks include Jesus Joy of Man's Desire for the processional, Pachelbel's Cannon in D for my walk down the aisle, and Handel's Hornpipe for the Recessional.

I feel terrible for asking him to do this on such short notice, but I know he will do a wonderful job and we plan on getting him a nice gift certificate to his favorite restaurant. I'm so happy to check this off the list!

I am using the Wedding March by Jonathan Cain from Journey. I love it.
