I don’t have any photos, but we are doing dark gray (pewter) and bright yellow. There will be a ton of candles and candlesticks, ivory lace tableclothes, and a chandelier at the reception.

@veragirl:  Ugh, our color scheme has gone through so many phases.  Our venue has beautiful hardwood floors and ivory exposed brick… we really wanted our vibe to be elegant and sophisticated with a vintage glam twist.

At first I really wanted a blush/ivory/champagne color scheme….lots of neutrals.  We then decided that those colors (though beautiful) didn’t necessarily match our vibe, and that all that ivory would just wind up meshing too much with the venue.

Then I really wanted mint.  Not that that would have necessarily matched our vibe either, but I fell in love with the mint/peachy pink combo.  Until I realized I couldn’t find a bridesmaid dress in the green I was looking for for under $250, and I just felt bad asking my girls to pay that much.

Now I’ve settled on purples.  The bridesmaid dresses we’re going with are called lavender, but are a little bluer than I’d like — but the price was right and there are multiple styles for the girls to choose from.  I’m thinking of pairing the lavender with other shades of purple, green, and ivory/champagne.  I love all the succulents I’ve been seeing everywhere and am kind of hoping to incorporate them somewhere and use them as a color palatte inspiration.

These are my colors. I love the idea of fall colors mixed with a grey. I might add some plum in there too.

Our colors are sangria and oasis according to David’s Bridal. They are basically a dark teal and dark wine color with silver accents.

We are getting married at the yacht club that my fiance’s grandparents have been members at for 30 years.  Although I’m not having a nautical theme (no real theme except a color theme) our colors are navy, white and silver.  I want something clean and classic.  My mom has two huge blue hydrangea bushes so I’ll be using blue hydrangeas in our centerpieces and for my maids of honor bouquets.

@veragirl:  Thx! Unfortunately most of the shades out there are the brighter teal. We went with the darker because it looked classier with the sangria.

@keevolpi:  I’m using the same colours, they look amazing together I think.

We’re doing deep orange with yellow and charcoal.
