@HonoraryNerd:  OH ANTHRO BEE HOW I LOVE THEE!!

me:

Business-History-ANTHROPOLOGY!!

I found my love in Anthro..I have my AA in History, then found myself at my university in love with Anthro and got my BA in it.

Do I use it?

Multiple times a day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DO IT DO IT!

I feel like I can sell myself to employers on the following:

1) I understand people and culture enough to relate to them and lead them/inspire them.

2) I understand language enough with different groups of people in order to relate to all different types of people (NOT RACES)….in order to inspire and motivate.

3)  I have been exposed enough to different cultures to travel anywhere in the world and understand basic romantic languages/communication skills to build rapport and sell a product.

4)  My idol is Indiana Jones (j/k…..but seriously…)

OH my goodness!!  I love Anthro. Got my degree in it, use it every day…LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!  PM me…I can give you MANY more ideas here.  DO IT DO IT DO IT.

@veryberry13:  ETA:

I work in insurance and we deal with people from around the country..sometimes around the world.

It’s awesome to already have the WANT to deal with everyone, everywhere…much less be taught official ‘skills’ in the classroom that could help you in customer service AND your career!!

Good Luck!

I am graduating in May with a B.S. in Psychology.

All along the plan after graduation was to go to graduate school in psychology, but now I am planning to go to PA (Physician Assistant) school.

@aliavenue:  I am a first year in the doctoral program, though I already did a three-year Masters, so I feel like I’ve been in grad school forever! I love it!! It is so wonderful to study and teach what I love. I don’t always get as much sleep and exercise as I’d like, but overall, I’m really happy! How about you?

@howsweetitis:  I’m in my final semester of coursework. I have my comprehensive exams in a few weeks and then onto the dissertation! I know what it feels like to be in grad school for years. Hang in there!

@ltj14:  How did/do you like your psychology course? I did it for A levels and considered it for my degree but realised I didn’t like it enough.
